As Gorn and Sting stood gazing at each other while grinning, Trengal's glanced at the both of them and smirked.
"Begin!"
Gorn's irises glowed brighter and an golden explosion took place, catching everyone off guard.
"Oh my!" Trengal said, "Gorn is showing that he means business by starting this round off with a boom!"
Some of the audience became a bit stunned as they spot Sting behind Gorn while smiling. Gorn's eyes rolls back and spots Sting behind him and smiled
"Impressive..." Gorn said within himself, "There are only two people that has dodged that attack without getting a scratch on them: Govo and Grei..."
Gorn slightly grins and a group of large glowing vines quickly sprung out underneath Sting but Sting appeared high in the air. The golden vines multiplied themselves, moving at a blinding speed in attempt to hit Sting but Sting easily dodges everything in mid air while having his arms crossed. During this incident, multiple large golden glowing spikes surrounded Sting in mid air and dashed towards him but Sting vanishes from the area, leaving the spikes to hit the ground.
Gorn's eyes rolls back and spots Sting sitting far away from him with his legs crossed and his head resting on of his knuckles which made Gorn to smirk at this.
"Such speed..." Gorn said within himself, "Those nimble and soundless moves... He is like a shadow that creeps into an environment. Still, to dodge my 'Heaven's thorns' at that range, this speaks a lot about him."
"You're pretty good." Gorn said while smiling, "But you cannot beat me by continuously dodging everything i throw at you. Eventually you'll get tired and I'll catch up to you so it's best you start fighting back now."
"Yeah, i thought about that." Sting said as he stood up and began to stretch himself, "Alright, Gorn..."
"Let's rock...!" Sting said in a heavy tone while smiling darkly as his irises glowed brighter along his scleras turning black.
"Why are his scleras black?" Gorn asked within himself in a puzzled expression.
"Reapers hand." Sting said as he stretched forth his hand with a black-purple aura engulfed round it.
Gorn suddenly finds himself engulfed with a black-purple aura which left him confused.
"Huh?" Gorn said
A force suddenly pulled Gorn towards Sting at an astonishing speed and a giant black-purple fist hits Gorn and sends him crashing roughly on the ground, creating a rift in the process and leaving the audience and the Chiefs (except Ezgord) shocked.
"Wha-what the hell was that?!" Trengal asked, "Gorn was suddenly pulled towards Sting and knocked the f**k down!"
"Was that telekinesis?" A male Tenplar asked.
"No. Kan users are immune to telekinesis." A male Ripar replied.
"Then what the hell was that?!" The Tenplar male asked.
"Gaaruda technique." A feminine voice said.
The Tenplar man and the Ripar man turned and saw the person to be a black haired female Ripar who was staring down with her arms crossed.
"Vaniva." The Ripar man said with a smile, "The first Ripar to master the Gaaruda technique to the point it looks like her Kan ability."
"Oh, you flatter me, Karlac." Vaniva said while smiling.
"Wait, what is this 'Gaaruda' technique, you people speak of?" The Tenplar man asked.
"Oh, you don't know?" Vaniva asked, "It's a very powerful and yet extremely dangerous Ripar technique that involves the combination of both aura and soul energy manipulation. "
"Oh, so that's the legendary technique I've heard of." The Tenplar man said, "But i thought it was forbidden due to it being extremely dangerous to the point it tears the user's soul apart when using?"
"It is. But that's what makes it worth mastering to me." Vaniva replied, "Even my student Sting felt that it was worth mastering."
"Wait, that Ripar boy down there is your student?" The Tenplar man asked in shock.
"Yes. He is." Vaniva replied as she resumes staring down at Sting.
Back at the arena, Gorn stood on his feet and cleaned the blood of his lips while smiling.
"That move you pulled on me earlier wasn't telekinesis because Kan nullifies telekinetic control. The stronger and more powerful it is, the stronger the nullification." Gorn said.
"Yeah, you are right." Sting said while smiling, "That move i pulled on you was a Gaaruda technique i created known as 'Reapers hand' which involves me using my aura to engulf your entire body and move it as i see fit."
"So in other words, it's a false telekinesis?" Gorn asked.
"Yep." Sting said.
"Not bad." Karlac said.
"I know, right?" Vaniva asked, "Unlike telekinesis that involves the ability to move objects with the mind, Reapers hand only works if you get covered with the user's aura but the problem is the speed you use in sending your aura towards the object and the distance of the object as well."
"As expected of you, Vaniva. Only you can create something as great as this." Karlac said.
" Oh i didn't create it, that boy did. I just helped him improve it to this point." Vaniva said.
Vaniva recalls years ago as she was watching little Sting struggling to send a small black-purple ball towards a rock (which was moving slowly towards the rock). Moments later, Vaniva was steadying both of Sting's arms from behind while Sting's hands were engulfed with a black-purple aura; The rock became engulfed with Sting's aura and began to levitate but was instantly crushed to bits, leading Sting to grin and chuckle nervously while staring at Vaniva who happened to be glaring down at him with her arms on her waists.
After recalling that moment, Vaniva's focus became fixed on Sting.
"Though, there was something odd about him." Vaniva said within herself, "He trained everyday to perfect his use of Gaaruda technique but it didn't feel as if he was doing it to get stronger. No, it was as if he was doing it to convince himself that it was his actual kan ability... But why?"
"Wow! I'm amazed folks! This young man here has created an astonishing technique to face his opponents!" Trengal said, "What other beautiful moves does he have to show us?!"
"Bastard..." Gorn said while smiling, "You have all this strength and skill but yet you chose to keep it hidden?"
"What can i say." Sting said while smiling with a gallic shrug, "A wise woman once said that a good warrior knows when to reveal their strength."
Vaniva slightly blushed at Sting's words which made Karlac facepalm himself after seeing her reaction towards the statement of her student.
"Some things never change." Karlac said within himself.
"Well then, shall we continue?" Gorn asked with a grin as his irises glowed brighter.
"Ohh yeah." Sting said with a grin as his scleras turns black along with his irises glowing brighter.
Gorn and Sting sprints towards each other and stretched forth their arms with their respective aura colors glowing on their palms which resulted in an explosion. A golden streak of light and a black-purple streak began to move round the arena, creating glowing vines and dark (black-purple) explosions.
During this incident, Gorn hops back and placed both of hands on the ground.
"Luminescent tree: Fourth heavenly prison!" Gorn said.
In an instant, four large glowing woods sprang out underneath Sting to cover Sting but Sting quickly spreads his arms apart.
"Gaaruda technique: Equida!"
A dark wave quickly emerges, destroying the woods and severely damaging the ground as well, leaving the audience amazed with this display. Gorn, however, averts the attack by leaping high in the air and stretched out his hand towards Sting
"Luminescent tree: Twin heavenly birds!"
A golden glowing wood bird suddenly sprang out of the ground and hit Sting from behind with its head, carrying Sting towards Gorn (who happened to be standing on another golden glowing wooden bird) at an astonishing speed.
"Lederium." Gorn said with an echoing voice as his irises glowed brighter while pointing his finger towards Sting.
The bird instantly spread it's wings and sends out it's golden leaf-made feathers towards Sting at a rapid rate which created a massive explosion in the air. Gorn raised his head and became shocked as he spots Sting high above him with a dark aura glowing around his body.
Sting smirks and stretched forth his hand engulfed with his dark aura and Gorn quickly finds himself engulfed with Sting's dark aura as well.
"Oh crap, not again!" Gorn said within himself.
Sting draws back his arm back and pulls Gorn towards him swiftly. As Gorn was moving towards Sting at an accelerated pace, Sting uses his other arm and creates a small dark sphere on his palm while grinning menacingly at Gorn.
"Gaaruda technique: 7 folds of darkness!" Sting said within himself as he threw down the sphere towards Gorn.
"Oh sh*t..." Gorn said within himself.
Multiple dark twinklings descended down to the ground and spawned powerful dark explosions that occured seven times, wrecking the ground of the arena while filling it with dust-clouds and smoke. A gigantic golden glowing hand of wood quickly emerges out of the dusts and smoke and moves towards Sting which Sting evades, leaving him stunned.
"What the...?"
Numerous golden glowing wooden hands quickly moved towards Sting and tries to grab him but Sting manages to evade them all. All of a sudden, a golden glowing humanoid of wood fully emerged from the smoke, having the appearance of cloaked being with multiple arms on its back. The humanoid stared down at Sting while Gorn was standing on it's shoulder, leaving the many of the audience in disbelief.
"What in the...!" A Kenar man said.
"Luminescent tree: Grand executioner." Gorn said.
Raen quickly recalls months ago as Gorn used that technique to rain down it's numerous fists (which moved like meteors) on many red creatures, resulting in multiple powerful explosions and the destruction of the entire area and beyond.
However, immediately after seeing this technique, Sting smirked.
"Humph. Child's play." Sting said as the dark aura around began to increase in height, "Gaaruda technique: Ladorika."
In a flash, a gigantic humanoid made of Sting's dark aura , carrying the facial appearance of a hooded grim reaper decorated with spikes on it's shoulder, forearms, knuckles and kneecaps.
"WHAT IN BLUE HELL IS THAT?!" Trengal asked.
The audience and the Chiefs became shocked with this display except Vaniva (who happened to be smirking with her arms crossed).
"Be it aura manipulation or a Gaaruda skills, it's not supposed to reach that level." Reiv said within himself with widened eyes, "To create something this big with Gaaruda, is supposed to have killed Sting! I can understand that he is Chief Ezgord's son but just how strong is this guy?!"
Inside the head of the dark humanoid, Sting opens his eyes and grins which Gorn responds with a grin of his own. Sting's Ladorika and Gorn's Grand executioner instantly clashed fists which created a massive tremor.
"Damn. For people that seem extremely young, these two are on a completely different level." Trengal said within himself.
At the audience center,Yulin noted a Tenplar teen male clenching his fists hard while staring at the two with a look full of frustration and disbelief.
"Kein..." Yulin called.
"Ever since my disgraceful defeat at the hands of Karma, i swore to become stronger..." Kein said, "Even though i lost to Grei at the rumble, i thought i was at least on Gorn's level but now that i am witnessing this match, I've come to realize that there is no room for me at all in terms of power between these two."
Back at the arena, Sting's Ladorika and Gorn's Grand executioner began to clash fists relentlessly, creating more and more powerful tremors. During their relentless clashing, Gorn's Grand executioner tries to use the arms on its back to attack but Sting's Ladorika instantly generates multiple arms.
As the two giants were still clashing relentlessly, Sting grinned mischievously and the arms of the Ladorika grew bigger and swiftly shattered the arms and the upper body of the Grand executioner which sent Gorn flying backwards and left the audience amazed.
While Gorn was falling down to the ground, Gorn quickly cups his hands together.
"Luminescent tree: Divine temple!"
Numerous humongous golden glowing vines (which were bigger than Sting's Ladorika) quickly sprung out from the ground and attacked the dark humanoid, instantly overpowering it to the ground and created a massive dust-cloud.
"Wow, would you look that!" Trengal said, "Gorn and Sting seem to be almost evenly matched in power! Who do you think will take the lead here, folks?!"
"These guys are amazing..." Idjra said with astonishment.
"Alright, that's it! How's that short stack still there?!" Yulin asked out of annoyance.
During this incident, Raen began to clutch her crossed arms tighter as she recalls her and Gorn's younger selves standing in front of Chief Tenya.
"You are Gorn, correct?" Chief Tenya asked.
"I see..." Chief Tenya said while smiling, "You are the boy that protected the stray children from a pack of Umoruks during their invasion on the Tenplar tribe. And it wasn't just one or two but twelve of them. I'm impressed."
"T-thank you, Chief Tenya." Gorn nervously said.
Chief Tenya walks towards Gorn and squats to touch his shoulder.
"You have a bright future in becoming Chief." Chief Tenya said while smiling, "As long as you focus and keep working hard, you will be able to accomplish that."
"You mean it?!" Gorn asked with a bright smile.
"Yes, i do." Chief Tenya replied.
"Alright! From now on, I'm going to work hard and get stronger until I've accomplish that goal!" Gorn said excitedly, "I Gorn will become the next Chief of our tribe! This i swear!"
After recalling that moment, Raen stared down at Gorn as he was grinning while moving backwards.
"You've really gone far, Gorn." Raen said within herself, "From a boy who used to be mocked by others for his girlie face to a guy who is now praised for his immense power as the Peerless dawn.
I just hope you can rest after accomplishing your dreams of becoming a Chief. But please, Gorn... Please, come back to me..."
At the Chiefs center, Chief Ezgord stared down at Sting as he was grinning while moving backwards; Chief Ezgord recalls years ago as he was dragging little Sting by the wrist while Sting was stretching out his other arm towards the other Ripar children.
"Don't bother about them, Sting." Chief Ezgord said, "The strong has no need to ally with the weak. You are going to be the Chief of your generation and I'm going to make sure of it."
After recalling that moment, Chief Ezgord mildly smirked.
"Humph. Looks like all my efforts of trying to make you strong wasn't in vain." Chief Ezgord said within himself, "Very soon when you are of age, you will become the Chief of our tribe but first, I need to make sure you are the strongest to do that."
Down at the arena, a golden streak of light and a dark streak were moving around, Gorn and Sting locks eyes with each other and grinned
"This guy..." Gorn and Sting said within themselves.
"He's so strong..." Gorn said within himself.
"He's so cool..." Sting said within himself.
"Why was he hiding his strength this whole time?" Gorn asked within himself.
"What did he do to get to this level?" Sting asked within himself.
"No matter..." Gorn and Sting said within themselves, "This guy..."
"Has what it takes to become the next Chief of his tribe!!!" Gorn and Sting said within themselves as their respective eyes glowed brighter.
