When I felt my wife was finally calming down within my arms, I began to carry her and let her settle on the bed before letting myself sit beside her. I looked at her while stroking her hair which made her hum which made me chuckle but I only received a pinch to my sides since her arms wrapped around me until I released a sigh and looked over her seriously.
"Wifey, I can hardly tell on how many wolf souls you've already seen shattered before your eyes, but you're saving them. Believe in that." I was being serious when I told her that yet she just sigh before she sat beside me while our backs rested over the headboard of our bed.
