I groaned as I slammed my hand over my bedside table just to turn off my annoying alarm clock and to be precise, I smashed it again. I know it was very rare for or to any vampire to be sleeping by I am different among them since I'm a real deal Halfling. I am half vampire-witch and human because of my parents.
"Great. It's already four-thirty and I didn't have enough sleep." I start yawning as I got up from my standard queen-sized bed lazily. I love to sleep ever since I couldn't find her anywhere after that night and I couldn't stop my mind from drifting to that particular night that I kissed her.
"Kiddo, I know you're awake but you have to attend the charity recital downtown." I was in the middle of reminiscing about that event when I heard my mother speaking behind my closed door.
