Laurel's POV
"Oh…. God..., what sort of traffic is this? Must there be traffic in this Lagos every day?" Blessing grumbled as we got into traffic. We had already left Miriam's place, and I would drop her off at her place as she didn't come with her car.
I laughed at her reaction, "this is Lagos for you. Lagos and traffic are inseparable."
Blessing yawned, "abeg, I'm tired, and I need to rest," she said as she looked out of her window. "this is Banks' area, if the traffic doesn't move soon, I will just come down and go over to his place and rest, and maybe go back to my place later in the evening when the traffic would have lessened."
I turned to look at her, "so you are just going to leave me and go be with your boyfriend? What a friend you are," I smirked.
"You are welcome to come with me if you want," Blessing said, laughing.
"Seriously?" I asked her with a serious look.
"Okay, that was insensitive; I'm sorry," she said.
