"All rise" the bailiff started.
Everyone in the room stood up.
"This court is now in session. Judge Eli presiding. Please be seated"
Darren including anyone else in the room sat down. Judge Eli was in there and Darren had noticed how the Judge look at Hugo and a faint smile over to his lips. Tim patted his thigh and Darren looked at him.
"Everything will be alright" he mouthed and Darren just nodded, his words did nothing to calm his insides down because he's still very much anxious.
"Will the clerk please swear in the jury?" Judge Eli said and the Bailiff, who Darren doesn't know the name of, stood up.
"Please raise your right hand. Do you solemnly swear or affirm that you will truly listen to this case and render a true verdict and a fair sentence as to this defendant?"
"I do"
"You may be seated"
