Tim laid on his back, eyes staring up at the ceiling in the dark.
He was completely conflicted. His hands are itching to reach his phone by the bedside table and check the time and check if there's any update from Hugo but he was a little afraid. He wouldn't deny the bubbling emotions welling up inside him. For the first time in who knows how long he's able to feel how to be scared again.
He wasn't motivated by anger or driven by rage to do anything right now. He's sad and the love he has for the person sleeping beside him, his arms curled around his abdomen and one turn in of his head, he'd be able to see the cutie that Darren is.
It also didn't help that he dropped those three words yesterday. Those three words that meant everything to him, to his world, and to the both of them. Especially when Darren thought it was a good time to return the phrase before sleeping.
