Jacques smiled at his parents when they came down for breakfast. They are already dressed in their work clothes and is ready to go to the company.
His mother gave him a kiss on his forehead before his father gave him a tap on the shoulder before they settled on their seats.
He gave them a nice good morning before he went back on his own plate of breakfast. There's a small French literature book beside his plate that he was planning to read right after breakfast. He's not going anywhere anyway. He'll be staying at the house for the whole day and not planning anything but to read.
As spoilt as it may sound, he doesn't work. Not because he doesn't want to or because he can be settled for life just for the inheritance he'll be receiving in the right time. He doesn't work for personal reasons and because of that, he spends most of his time at home.
