Darren looked at himself in the mirror. Making sure he looks nice and not someone who has been carrying a lot on his shoulders.
He's been sitting in front of the vanity for minutes now or maybe, for an hour already. He cannot stop praying and wishing all of these go well. But if Mr. Sebastien, Amandine, and Kari is there, how could things go well?
Amandine won't talk to him and that's fine. Kari is intimidating and that's not fine. Mr. Sebastien is annoying and that's even more not fine. It's also not helping that when Tim arrived, he pulled Hugo and Alain somewhere immediately.
The only thing that's keeping him from trembling right now is his confidence to himself. He's been in numerous awkward events, been pushed into a lot of parties he didn't want to be in, met different kinds of people and all of them were fine as hell because he could handle it.
