Darren carried the book to sit at the chair beside Hugo's and looked at it. The book cover has the same letter E that he saw when he just arrived at the fountain with the strange scribbling on it he cannot understand.
Running a finger on the letter, he observed that it was illuminated to show through its shine more. The cover was leather in the feel and may contain at least a hundred pages. Carefully lifting the cover, he saw the title and below it is its French Translation.

Hmm. It seems like a history book of their family.
He began to turn the pages and saw a black and white picture of a man and woman. The woman was sitting on a chair and the man was standing behind her, hands on the woman's shoulders and both were smiling straight in his eyes.
They look pretty. Even when it's obvious that the picture was old but the beauty was still apparent. Below them were their names, Mael & Anais Elroy, 1850.
