Darren sighed and looked up at his ceiling. Well, technically, not his ceiling, it's the Elroy family's ceiling but well, yes.
Up until now, he cannot believe these things are happening. He still thinks he's only having a very realistic dream or probably, very realistic nightmare. Or maybe he's in an alternate universe? Like the ones he saw in television? Those ones who travel to another world because of a mission to save the world or to find answers to save the world.
It can be anything. Other than the dignity, his mind cannot seem to grasp that these past few days were real. He still expects to wake up in his bedroom in their house the next day but every time he opens his eyes, he's really in the Elroy mansion.
It felt as if he was floating, his heart cannot contain the fact that Tim is talking to him like the good old days. Sure, he wasn't calling him like he used to back then but there weren't the usual rage when he calls him by his surname.
