"Frère. Darren"
Darren stopped. Eyes widening and body felt like sagging.
They had just stepped out from the library after hours of sleeping and staggering situation. Threw him off guard, threw him over and over again. And despite the lack of communication when they woke up, it felt. . . right.
Darren doesn't know why but it felt right. The sleep was amazing and surprisingly comfortable even with the horrible thoughts that used to twirl inside his mind were thrown out of the window.
He sighed, eyes sweeping to Julien standing few feet away from the entrance to the library. His eyes blooming with perplexity, fine lines on his forehead drawn with the need to know what's happening and the reality of what he is seeing before him.
