A bolt of energy flies through the air and scorches the wall. They had done it, the scientist of the Neo-Union had finally made a break through on portable and power efficient laser rifles which had seemed a fiction till now. The year was 2205, the Earth was now a Sci-fi utopia. Sure people had to work and the economy was still running the world, but with advancements and knowledge given to humanity by the Exiles humanity became space faring, terraforming Earth's two moons, Mars, and some orbiting moons of Mars. In the beginning most of the governments of the world united under the banner of the Exiles to form the Neo-Union, Earth's standing government. The military now utilized the force for every soldier, not ignoring its power but also not falling to its influence either. Knowing of the possible alien threats that may exist outside Earth's solar system humanity grew as one... till one day society split. The newly terraformed Mars didn't wish to be governed by the foreign Neo-Union. Though truly one wondered if that was the true reason for the schism as the force may have its own unique... effect on the newly formed Crimson Empire of Mars.
