Memories
Jungkook was in his dorm thinking where Taehyung disappeared. They have been roommates for so long, that they moved in together even after college. As Jungkook recalled those days, he remembered the first day of college and how they met.
Taehyung was known as a bad boy in their college, but he was actually a very sweet boy. A good boy. It was just that he was always in the wrong place at the wrong time. The first day of college Jungkook bumped in a boy who had red hair and tattoos on his neck, arms and face. The guy even had a piercing on his bottom lip and his ears.
He looked scary.
Jungkook was scared of the boy. He apologized to the redhead and went somewhere in the crowd, hoping the guy won't find him.
He went to see whom he is sharing a room with. On the board was Jungkook's name next to another boy's name and the number of the room.
Kim Taehyung was the name of the guy he's sharing the room with and Jungkook thought the name was actually very nice. 'No one with such a nice name could be a bad person, right?' he thought.
You see, Jungkook had a lot of problems because of people in high school. He always got in trouble because he was gay and other kids in the school disliked him because of that. He actually had problems in middle school too, when he told his first love that he liked him. And it just had to be his first friend who he made in school. For everything to be even worse, the boy was homophobic. Jungkook couldn't make a single friend from that day onwards and he hoped this boy would be nice for a change.
He got in the room and saw that Taehyung didn't come yet, so he chose to wait for him and then unpack. Jungkook sat on one of the beds and waited for his roommate to come when the door knob suddenly shaked. The door opened revealing the redheaded boy Jungkook ran into earlier that morning.
They both froze and just looked at each other.
Stunned.
Well, at least Taehyung was.
He never saw someone as beautiful as Jungkook before. When the bunny-like boy ran into him earlier Taehyung hoped he'd see him again. Taehyung knew that his appearance wasn't giving people the right picture of himself, so he approached the boy and extended his hand. "My name's Kim Taehyung. I hope we can be friends!" he said with a boxy smile.
Jungkook, on the other side, was in shock.
He thought that the redhead was a bad person by what he looked like, but then again. He remembered how his so-called friends looked and how they acted in front of adults. Taehyung was nothing like them. He looked scary, but he didn't act arrogant and he wasn't nice just because there were adults to see him (because there weren't any).
Jungkook took Taehyung's hand and said:"I'm Jeon Jungkook. It's nice to meet you, Taehyung."
From that day, they were inseparable. They became best friends and then at one party at the end of their first year, Taehyung asked Jungkook to be his boyfriend. He said that he caught feelings for him the moment Jungkook bumped into him on their first day.
Of course Jungkook said yes and they've been together since then.
The door knob shaked and Jungkook lifted his gaze to see Taehyung entering the room. Jungkook jumped up and went to hug his boyfriend tight.
"Where did you disappear?" Jungkook asked with his face in the crook of Tae's neck.
Taehyung smiled and said: "I just went to get something for you."
Jungkook was curious what the other male got him.
"And what did you buy?"
"It's a surprise," Taehyung said while winking at Jungkook who whined.
"Why don't you tell me now?"
"Do you want me to?"
"Yes!"
Taehyung snickered and let go of Jungkook who looked at him with curiosity in his big, brown eyes.
Taehyung suddenly kneeled in front of Jungkook taking something from his jacket pocket.
A small box.
Jungkook looked at Taehyung with big doe eyes that showed how much he was shocked and surprised.
"Jeon Jungkook, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
There was silence for 10 seconds (Taehyung counted) and then Jungkook started jumping up and down screaming: "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! AND MILLION TIMES MORE YES!"
They hugged again and kissed as there's no tomorrow.
And somehow, they ended up in bed.
