Chapter 1 - 0.

She sat on the edge of the dock.

She felt like his heart would jump at any moment. That place... it brought her back too many memories. So many that it hurt.

He would have loved that place, as much as she did at the time.

What peace everything felt, the pure blue color of the sea. The smell. The tranquility that gave you in the chest. The icy breeze gently kissing your cheeks. He would have loved that place to sit and draw anything without much care.

She took the necklace to his chest, brushing it with his slender fingers, begging all the holy to give him more strength so that he could choose the right thing. The right thing to do was throw away that necklace, burn it, or throw it into the sea so that its waves would swallow its secrets. But she was not capable.

She was always a coward.

With a last sigh, she got up and turned around, but she had forgotten a small detail. The necklace rested freely on his chest, nothing hid it because he was wearing a tank top that exposed part of his chest.

When he looked up, he found the pair of slightly bluish gray orbs from the young master.

He trembled on the spot, when the boy looked at his chest directly peering at his belongings; the necklace.

She knew: it was all over in that moment.

All the effort of years burying the ghosts of his past were in vain, because they all returned in one fell swoop.

He looked at her, the boy really wished with all his being that it wasn't real; that it was a cruel dream, the product of his delusions. But it was real, more than anything. I was standing in front of him.

She slightly denied, mentally begging him not to say what she knew he would say. That which would break his heart into a thousand pieces.

He, gathering courage and searching for her terrified voice, whispered angrily:

—"It was always you."
