18th December 2020…
As I walked out of the bar, the evening had already scattered her darkness around on the streets. Seoul had much more hustling life than here. But even though it was quiet, the street had trees on both sides lit up with fancy lightings which made it seem like a milky way surrounded by black night sky….the fresh air without any fine dust made it more peaceful to walk on street. I decided to walk till subway station or else when would I get such an opportunity for sight-seeing in Daegu city?
I wandered on the market street, obviously I wasn't going to buy anything but still roaming in such crowd was a daily routine I did since my parents left me alone, this crowd gave me a sense of belonging…at least I belong to this society…But, as I've jumped into this profession…Will this society accept me as one of them? I don't think so…Anyways this feeling is fake and even in a crowd of 200 people , I will always be left out alone…After finishing up my first exam I had to return back doing my job. Last night Daniel was kind enough to not force himself on me…not all men are going to be kind. Will I be able to handle this? Did I rush into it? My mind was storming with thoughts.
My mind was immersed in thoughts, but my brain was quite alert to notice that a shadow followed behind me since I left the bar. I couldn't turn around or that person might've attacked me so I decided to keep walking without looking behind. This tag game continued till I reached the train platform, not even once I looked back, but that person didn't leave me.. Although it had worsened up as the number of people following me went from one person to four of them…
Metro arrived on platform, doors were opened and as soon as I lifted my feet towards it, I got dragged behind!!! I fought back, started kicking their legs, biting the man's hand who had held me up in air pulled my bag. But my fragile body couldn't match their strength. That giant person threw me on his shoulders and another hand covered my nose with chloroform. Everything just blanked out after that incident….

My head ached as if someone was hammering on it. I tried opening my eyes , my vision was blurred out….The chloroform was still acting on me , Yet I somehow managed gaining back consciousness. As the reality started hitting me up, I realized those four men had trapped me inside a dark room. It seemed like some kind of store house, there were cargo boxes scattered around… I searched for my bag, thankfully it was lying just beside me. I found my wrist watch… 11 PM….
"No…I cannot sit down here quietly…I've got my exam tomorrow, also I need to pay fees before that which means I have to reach school before 8 AM….I need to do something…." I tried calming myself down, took a deep breath and looked around in room if there was any window. But the room was completely packed, there was no way to get out except the main door. Still, opening that door would be difficult….very difficult…
"Yuri….think….think how can you open that damn door!!!" I murmured. A dangerous thought struck my mind, I walked towards the boxes, opened them…There were empty glass bottles inside, Took 2 of them and broke one bottle on the wall carefully without making much noise. Lifted a piece of broken glass and made a slight cut on my thigh. Ran towards the door, and dripped few drops of blood through the slit opening at bottom, made the blood flow outside. Then broke other glass bottle in my hand with a loud bang and screamed out loudly. As expected person who guarded the room got startled and hurriedly opened the door. Before him opening the door, I ran behind towards door hinges and as he stepped inside I attacked him from back on his head with the broken glass bottle , he couldn't bear the shock attack and fell down in next few seconds. I picked up my bag and slipped outside the room, but again as I had expected, there were certainly more people to guard this store house proved to be true. I had to move slickly and with slightest sound of my feet. I managed getting out of the building safely but suddenly a strong force with wooden plank banged on my shoulder, enduring that pain I turned around smoothly and knocked off the bodyguard with my taekwondo high kick on his chin. He was left bewildered and fell down on knees. Without wasting any moment I fleeted away from that building.
The only thing on my mind was giving exams and paying fees next morning, I was running like a psychopath with my thigh bleeding down….Yes, This is me Lee Yuri….A high school girl with biggest ambitions, extreme desires, stone cold heart and would risk anything to fulfill my desires. And my Only desire was to Survive…Leave this country to survive….keep being underground as Rose…To take revenge of my Mom and Dad's assassination ….I had no feelings left after losing and witnessing my parents murder right before my eyes…This me…Lee Yuri…..
