Growing up without a father is one of the hardest thing that Reena had to go through. She missed a lot of school parents activities ever since she was young. She craves a father's love, she even tried to draw him, imagining his facial features because her mother refused to give any detailes about his dad, dismissing the topic whenever she had the chance. As her mother found a new job being a maid on an enormous house, working with one of the richest business man in town, Mr. Fredickster. Her mother persuaded Reena to live with her so here she is, standing outside the property. Reena's jaw dropped as she stepped inside. It was even prettier! with white walls, furnitures tinged with gold. The living room was spacious, she was greeted by Mr. Fredickster with a wide smile and a tight hug. She was confused as to why he reacted this way of meeting her for the first time but nonetheless, she released a tight smile and hugged him back. ''Welcome, Reena! Your mother had told me a lot about you and just by hearing her stories, I grew fond of you so I'm very excited to have you here in our home'', his voice was full of enthusiasm as he speaks, Reena roam her eyes around the place once again when she met a pair of brown orbs.
A young lady was standing at the end of the staircase looking at her with such intensity that she refused to hold her gaze. Mr. Fredickster noticed and quickly introduced the girl to Reena. ''Oh! What a perfect timing! This is my daughter, Celine.'' Celine started taking little steps towards them with a cold expression.
Reena was quick to break the awkward atmosphere and extended her hand to introduce herself, ''Hi Celine, it was very nice to see you! I'm Reena by the way'', Reena tried her best not to stutter while talking because the girl infront of her was intimidating. Celine just looked at her up and down and smirked then walked away. Reena's hand was left hanging in the air and she quickly brought her hand to herself. Mr. Fredickster cleared his throat with a worried expression on his face ''I'm sorry about her, she's just not good with people'', Reena shook her head and told him not to apologize.
The sun had set when they started having dinner together. Mr. Fredickster insisted on eating with them. ''Reena, my dear. I decided to enroll you to the same school my daughter, Celine has been attending. Don't worry about the financial problems, I'll handle that.'' Reena was shocked to hear the news but she quickly composed herself and thanked Mr. Fredickster for his generosity.
After their early dinner, Reena went to her room to unpack. She can't help but to think of how her life will change or if coming here really was a good idea. She was too dived into her thoughts that she didn't hear the door opening, revealing Celine. She sat on the other side of the bed staring at her. ''Do you need anything?'', Reena asked with a quiet voice, close to a whisper. ''Why can't you meet my eyes? Are you that scared of me, hm?'', Celine's voice was tinged with amusement followed by a short chuckle. ''It'll be fun to have you around the campus, honey'', as soon as she said that, she went out. Reena released a deep sigh, having Celine around can bring a real headache. She's that intimidating.
