Chapter 38 - Chapter 37: The Outdoor Movie

"How was it?" Lee asked as she turned to look at us from the front passenger's seat.

"Exhausting," said Zoey as she leaned her head on my shoulder with her eyes closed.

"So exhausting," said Christine as she in turn leaned on Zoey's shoulder.

"But we did make a tremendous amount of progress," said Daniel, yawning afterwards.

"That's good to hear," said Lee with a smile on her face. She looked brighter when I last saw her. Facials do work wonders.

Mike who sat at the back with Daniel yawned, and so did I. He soon asked, "so what reward were you planning to give us, Lee? We did work hard like you told us to."

"Oh, the reward," she turned to look back in front and motioned to the driver with a nod to start the car. "Sam can tell you that."

Zoey and Christine suddenly sat upright at the same time. Despite their tired looks, they looked shocked. I could also feel my brothers give me a glare. I rubbed my eyes, thinking of what to say. The car started to move and left the TS Entertainment premises.

"You knew about the surprise?" Daniel asked.

"Yes, I knew about it," I said.

"Why didn't you tell us earlier?" Zoey asked.

"Because Lee told me not to."

The five of us looked at Lee, who kept looking looking forward. We could tell she didn't want to look at us.

"So what's the surprise?" Mike asked.

"Daesung invited us to watch an outdoor movie in the evening," I answered.

"Really!" Christine and Zoey said in excitement.

I nodded. "Lee saw me reading his text and told me not to tell you until we made progress on the song. Which we did with BAP's help."

"And she made use of this time so that she could go and get herself a facial and manicure," said Zoey, folding her arms and looking at Lee. She still didn't turn around.

"She had a facial?" Mike asked, trying to get a glimpse of Lee. "No wonder she looks so bright."

"I should've one too," said Zoey as she rubbed her hands against her cheeks. "I probably look ugly because of all this tiredness."

"You already do even without looking tired," I heard Mike mutter, loud enough for Zoey to hear.

"I really don't want to argue with you, Mike, so let's leave it for tomorrow."

I raised an eyebrow. That's if she's going to remember. But when you least expect her to, she does.

"I'm glad we got to stay with BAP and work on our songs together," said Daniel. "It really helped."

"Then leaving you there was worth it," said Lee with a little glee in her voice.

"But you went for a facial without me!" Zoey wailed.

Lee finally turned around, shocked at Zoey bailing like a baby.

"You'll have plenty of time to do it later," I said, hoping that she would stop crying.

"But that has to be after the album," Lee made sure to point out.

Zoey cried even louder. If I had duct tape, I would've sealed her mouth shut. I looked at her, furrowing my eyebrows. She noticed and soon stopped crying.

"Sorry, Sam," she said as she put her hand over her lips.

"You don't need to make so much noise," I said, looking out of the window. "We're all tired and you doing that is irritating."

"Sam's right," said Mike. "You almost burst my eardrums, Zoey."

"Sorry, everyone," said Zoey, sounding a little embarrassed with herself.

"When we get back home, I'll make sure that we'll have a girl's get-together and go to the spa," said Lee as she looked at Zoey. "How does that sound?"

"That sounds nice," said Zoey, after clearing her throat.

"So what time do we've to meet Daesung for the outdoor movie?" Christine asked.

"Around 8:30 PM," I answered. "That's if I remember correctly. Let me check."

I took my phone out of my pocket, and read Daesung's message out loud for everyone to hear. He did say that he'll come pick us up with Seungri at 8:30.

"That gives us plenty of time to rest," said Daniel.

"I can't wait to lay my head on the pillow," I said as I leaned back in my seat and went on to look out of the window again.

"Same here," said Mike.

"How far did you go with your song?" Lee asked as she went back to looking in front of her. "I hear that you were also working on the instrumental."

"Ya, we are," said Daniel, sounding excited. "And it's all thanks to Bang Yong-guk."

"The guy is just good," Mike admitted.

"If you hear the instrumental, Lee, you'll love it," said Christine. "He's so talented."

"Well, you guys are giving him all the praise," said Lee.

"He deserves it," said Zoey.

"Isn't anyone going to answer my question? How far with your song?"

"We're not quite done yet," I answered. "Hopefully, he can be done with the instrumental tomorrow."

"But you did manage to come up with lyrics, right?"

"We did, surprisingly," I chuckled. "Just needs a little polishing up, that's if the instrumental is done on time."

"That's good to hear. Collins and Yang Hyun-suk will be glad too."

"That's if they will like the instrumental," said Mike. He thought just like I did.

"If you love it, they will too."

The five of us fell silent. Dealing with the managers was another thing all together.

We soon found ourselves approaching the hotel. Some of us were too tired to realise where we were until we saw the building.

"We're finally here," Lee announced as she turned to look at us as soon as the car parked in front of the hotel entrance.

"I feel awfully tired to even move," said Zoey, moaning with her eyes closed.

"Come on, you lazy bum," said Christine, opening the door of the car and stepping out.

Zoey had no choice as she sat upright and heavily dragged herself out. My brothers and I followed right behind her.

We were fortunate enough not to meet fans in the lobby as soon as we walked in. We were too tired, and if they happened to be around, escaping them wouldn't be so easy. We headed for the elevator and went up to our floor.

"Okay, guys," said Lee as soon as she stepped out of the elevator first, "you all can rest and I'll make sure to wake you up at 7:50."

"Sounds good to me," said Zoey, yawning and passing Lee, who stopped in the doorway heading to the lounge. Zoey went straight for our room. I followed right behind her. She opened the door and quickly went in.

Mike, Daniel and Christine went to their respective rooms. I entered the room, closed the door and found Zoey flat-faced on my bed.

"Zoey, please move," I went over to shake her. "This is my bed."

She moaned. "I can't move any longer, Sam," she said. "Just sleep on my bed."

I sat right beside her. "No." I shook her vigorously this time around, until she finally gave in, got up from my bed and went to hers.

I smiled when I kicked off my shoes and lay back. I moved myself further up the bed so as to lay my head onto the pillow. I took the phone from my pocket and placed it aside onto the bed side table. I had my eyes closed at first before opening them to look at Zoey. Just by her deep breathing, I could tell she has already fallen asleep.

My eyes got really heavy and I found myself falling into a deep sleep too.

***

The sound of my phone ringing jolted me awake. I quickly turned to look at my phone and stretched out my hand to get it. When I checked the caller ID, I felt like muting my phone to continue my sleep. I answered it instead.

"Hello," I muttered, rubbing out the sleep in my eyes with my other hand.

"Oh, my, were you asleep, my little kitty?" came G-Dragon's voice.

"What do you think?"

"I'm sorry about that. I called to check up on you and see how much progress you made on your song since the others couldn't make it."

"We actually made a lot of progress, thanks for asking."

"Lovely to hear. I hear you guys are going for an outdoor movie with Daesung and Seungri."

I turned on my side as I yawned. "Yes, we are. We need something to distract us after such a long day."

"Oh, okay."

There's something about the way he responded that made me raise an eyebrow. He sounded a little disappointed and he tried his best to hide it. He can't fool me.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked. "You sound a little off."

"Me! No, I'm fine, just fine."

I sighed as I sat up. I yawned. "You know, you can tell me what's bothering you. Something's up."

"No, nothing's up. You must be assuming things out of the blue since you just woke up from your sleep."

I didn't want to force him to say anything, though I am pretty sure something's bothering him. I'll let this one slide for now.

"If you say so," I said.

"I'll leave you to rest, then," he said. "Sorry for bothering you."

"It's fine, GD. You take care."

"You too, my little kitty."

He cut the call and I looked at my phone to check the time. I hadn't slept for long and I still had almost an hour till 7:50. The phone ringing hadn't woken Zoey. I put my phone aside and lay down. I still couldn't let go of G-Dragon's response as I stared at the ceiling. He didn't sound too happy. But over what? Is it the fact that we'll be hanging out with Daesung and Seungri? Didn't seem like it. But what if it is? What am I really missing here?

Maybe you're just imagining things, Sam, I told myself. I guess I read him wrong. I closed my eyes. I can worry about that later, that's if it's really worth thinking about when I wake up.

Lee came to wake us up exactly at 7:50, and getting out of bed proved to be a lot harder than I thought. I turned the other way and removed the pillow under my head to cover my face.

"Come on, Sam," said Lee as I felt her hand on my shoulder. "I need your help waking up Zoey."

I removed the pillow to look up at Lee with sleepy eyes. "Why do I've to do it?"

"Because I've to wake up the others. Come on, you don't want to be late for the movie."

"Alright," I sat up on my bed. Lee immediately walked out of the room.

I wanted to fall back, but resisted as I got up. I approached Zoey's bed and shook her. She's dead asleep. Shaking her isn't going to work.

I looked around the room and noticed an empty glass on her bed side table. I took it and went to the bathroom. I filled it with water from the wash basin and came back into the room. I looked at her when I got close and hoped she wasn't going to hate me for this. I took a bit of water with my hand and sprinkled it on her face.

She moaned upon the water drops hitting her face. She lifted her head as her hand flew to her face to wipe the drops off.

"What's-what's going on?" she muttered.

"It's time to get up, that's what," I said, still holding the cup.

"Already?" She groaned as she dropped her head back onto the pillow. "I feel like I haven't slept."

"Ya, same here. Come on, you hit the showers first."

"No, you go first." Zoey turned.

"If I go, you'll fall right back to sleep and it will be impossible for you to get up."

"No, it won't."

I sighed, putting my other hand on my hip. I looked up at the ceiling then dipped my fingers into the glass and continued to sprinkle water all over Zoey's face.

"Ah!" she shrieked, quickly sitting up. "I'm going, I'm going!"

I smiled at her while she stared at me with an angry look. She can thank me later when we get to the event on time. She got out of bed and stretched herself before heading to the bathroom.

"I'm so going to get you for this," she said before entering the bathroom.

"I know."

Within twenty minutes, Zoey and I were all bathed and dressed. We wondered how the others were doing so we decided to go and check on them.

We went to check on Christine first. We knocked on the door before she told us to come in.

We found her seated on the bed, putting on her favourite white and black Nike sneakers. She wore black slacks and a plain white t-shirt. Looks like she isn't the only one going all casual for the outdoor movie.

"Hey," Christine said when she saw us enter the room.

"Am I the only one going all out with my outfit?" Zoey asked as she turned to look at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked, raising my eyebrow. "You look fine."

She looked at herself and at her behind. She wore a pink shirt dress with black jeggings and black sneakers. If you ask me, that's pretty much casual.

Christine looked at her and shook her head. "You're unbelievable, Zoey," she said. "Is that what you call going all out?"

Before Zoey could make a point, I quickly said, "you know how she is. Just ignore."

Zoey humphed as she went to sit next to Christine. "I was only asking. You don't have to be so mean."

"You make it easy for us to sound mean," said Christine.

"Where's Lee?" I asked Christine.

"She's probably in the lounge. What kind of movie do you think we're going to watch?"

"I hope it's a classic old romantic movie," said Zoey. "The ones in black and white."

"I'm also thinking the same," I said.

"Wait, don't we need to have our own snacks for the movie?" Christine asked. "It's always better that way."

"And we need a picnic basket and other things," said Zoey as she quickly stood up from the bed. "I better go tell Lee. We need those things ASAP."

Zoey quickly rushed out of the room with the speed of a bullet. Christine and I stared at the open door. I shook my head.

"I bet Lee already has all of that covered," I said.

"How can you be so sure?" Christine asked.

"I just know." I went to sit next to her on the bed. "Now...," I turned to look at her, "Let's continue where we left off."

Christine raised an eyebrow at me. "What do you mean?"

I playfully rolled my eyes and smiled. "Don't tell me you've forgotten. I mean you and Jinwoo."

I noticed Christine suddenly blush as she looked away. I continued to smile and leaned on her shoulder so as to turn her attention back to me.

"You do remember we didn't finish our little conversation, right?" I asked.

"I know. But does it have to be now?" Christine turned to look at me, still blushing.

I giggled. "You're blushing like crazy, Christine. You should see your face, right now."

"Stop making fun of me, Sam. It's not funny."

"I know, I know. I'm sorry. But don't you think it's nice to have someone like you?"

"You tell me. You've so many guys crushing on you."

I know where she's going with this. But that isn't going to stop me from getting to the point.

"That's not it," I said. "We're talking about you for once."

"Well, for once I wouldn't like to have all the attention on me," said Christine as she pulled down her cheeks in despair.

"I'm the only one who knows. What do you mean you don't like all the attention? Things would be much worse if Zoey knew."

Christine turned to look at me, no longer pulling at her cheeks. "You do have a point."

"Well, at some point, she'll find out. And let's not forget something."

"What's that?" Christine's eyes looked at me with anticipation.

"The others have a hint that Jinwoo does like you. They just don't know he actually admitted it."

Christine moaned in frustration as she leaned back to lay down on the bed, covering her face with her hands. "Does that mean they actually know?"

"Practically, yes," I admitted. "So at some point it will be pretty evident."

"What should I do, Sam?" Christine asked as she quickly sat upright.

"When someone likes you, Christine, there's nothing you can do except for time to tell whether you've to be together or not."

"Then what's going to happen? Does that mean all this is going to end when I leave?"

"Ah-ha!" I pointed my finger at her. "So you do like him!"

Christine blushed like never before and squealed after she realised what she had said. She vigorously shook her head. I couldn't help but laugh. All this is turning out to be really fun.

"No, that's not what I meant," she tried to defend herself.

"Don't try to deny it. It's clearly written all over your face. Now I see why you guys get to have so much fun taunting me over guys who like me."

"Well, because you always have so many of them. When you taunt me it's not fun at all."

"Now you know how it feels." I winked at her as I continued to laugh.

"Hey, what's going on in here?"

Christine and I looked towards the open door and saw Daniel standing there in a light blue t-shirt and black jeans with black boots. He carried a black denim jacket in his hand.

"Oh, nothing," I said with a smile. "Just taunting Christine over something.

"What about?" he asked.

"Just girl stuff," I quickly answered before Christine could start to talk gibberish. I could see she's already nervous after seeing Daniel standing at the door.

"Okay," he said. "Where's Zoey?"

"She's worried about the outdoor movie," I answered. "She's with Lee right now making sure we've everything we need."

Daniel raised an eyebrow before he sighed and shook his head. "That's Zoey for you." He turned to look at Christine. "Hey, Christine, are you okay?"

"Huh?" Christine looked at Daniel. "Ya, I'm fine. Why do you ask?"

"You look like a red hot chili pepper right now. You don't have a fever, do you?"

"Ah-no, no, I don't," Christine shook her head nervously and I could see that she might need a tissue to wipe away the sweat that would soon form on her head.

"She's fine," I told Daniel. "Can you go check on Zoey for me? She must be troubling Lee and worrying for nothing."

Daniel sighed. "You know Zoey's a handful and I don't like to deal with her alone."

"I'll be there soon."

"Okay."

Daniel soon walked down the hall away from the door. I continued to hear his footsteps until I was sure that he had entered the lounge.

"That was close," said Christine as she took a breath of relief.

"He probably didn't even hear anything. But then, that's Daniel."

Christine turned to look at me with a horrified look. "What do you mean by that?"

"Nothing," I said with a smile. I quickly stood up from the bed. "Let's go to the lounge."

"What do you mean, Sam?" Christine asked as I went towards the door.

I stopped to turn my head and look at her, then smiled and walked out of the room.

"Sam, wait!" I heard her call out as I walked down the hall. I could hear her coming behind me. "Please tell me what you mean. Does it mean he heard?"

I shrugged. "Who knows? All we can hope for is that he didn't hear anything at all."

We soon heard the sound of a door closing behind us. We stopped to turn around and saw Mike approach us.

"What's going on with you two?" Mike asked when he got close.

"Oh, nothing, nothing," Christine quickly answered, scratching the back of her head.

Mike looked at the both of us, then he shrugged, showing that he didn't care. He went past us towards the lounge. I raised my eyebrow for a minute. Now I'm hoping that he didn't hear. It is Mike after all.

Christine and I also found ourselves in the lounge. We surprisingly found Daesung and Seungri.

"Hey, guys," said Christine, sounding surprised. "You're already here?"

"Hey, you two," greeted Daesung, who sat on the couch with Seungri. "Ya, we decided to come here a little early. Hope that's okay," he had his eyes on me.

"Not at all," I quickly answered. "It's good that you're here."

"So what movie are we watching?" Daniel who sat on one of the arm chairs Lee was seated on, asked.

"You'll see it for yourselves," said Seungri. "Are we ready to leave?"

I turned to look at Zoey who sat on Lee's other side. For some reason, I feel Zoey didn't get what she wanted from Lee. She turned to look at Lee who had an irritated look on her face. She and Zoey were looking at each other after Seungri had asked the question.

"Like I said earlier, Zoey," said Lee, "everything's under wraps."

"Are you sure?" Zoey asked. "Are you sure we've got everything we need for the outdoor movie?"

Lee rolled her eyes. "Of course, I have. What do you take me for?"

Seungri chuckled. "Lee's right, Zoey. She has everything all taken care of."

Zoey looked at Seungri and shrugged. "If you say so, then I guess it's true."

"Wait, so you believe him more than me?" Lee asked, looking surprised and hurt at the same time.

"Well, if you think about it, then, yes. With that stunt you pulled earlier by leaving us with BAP just so you can go for a facial and manicure, I don't really know what to think."

Lee gritted her teeth and turned her head the other way. "Whatever. Just go watch your movie."

"You aren't coming with us?" Mike who sat opposite from them, asked.

"I've some work to do and it needs to be done today. So Sam, you're in charge."

"Roger that," I said.

"We better get going," said Daesung as he stood up from his seat. "It's always nice to be early before the movie starts."

"Wait, where's the picnic basket and everything else for the movie?" Zoey asked Lee.

"Goodness, Zoey," said Mike as he rolled his eyes. "Were you listening? Everything's been sorted out, meaning, all that is with Seungri and Daesung."

Zoey chuckled in embarrassment and at the same time, scratched the back of her head. "Sorry about that. I just want this outdoor movie to be perfect, you know?"

"But you don't have to fuss over it," said Christine.

"Come on, Toxins," said Seungri as he also stood from his seat. "We don't want to be late."

We started our way towards the elevator with Lee escorting us.

"Make sure as soon as the movie is done, you get back here as soon as possible," she instructed us.

"Do we really have to?" Zoey asked. I pressed the button to summon the elevator as I got there first.

"You've a busy day tomorrow and you'll need all the rest you can get after what you've been doing today."

"Lee's right," I said as I turned to look at the others. "We need the extra rest."

The doors to the elevator opened behind me. I turned and got in first. The rest soon followed.

"Have fun," said Lee, waving at us before the doors closed. "Stay out of trouble."

When the doors closed and the elevator started to move, Seungri pointed out as he pressed the button to the ground floor: "who remembers when we all got in the elevator and were afraid that it will drop?"

"That's exactly what I was thinking," said Daniel as he stood right in front of the doors.

Christine laughed as she stood alongside me. "That day was so funny. Whenever I enter the elevator, I always remember it."

The elevator soon stopped moving and the doors slid open. We stepped out of the elevator and I felt a nice cool breeze from outside enter through the doors of the lobby. The lobby is pretty much empty and we found guards dressed standing in the lobby and by the door. We just couldn't go without an escort, huh?

"How did your song writing go today?" Daesung asked as he came to walk beside me.

"Oh, it went great," I said, looking at him. "It turned out to be fun too."

"Especially since Bang Yong-guk was helping us out," said Daniel.

"Ya, he was a big help," I agreed.

"I'm glad you had fun," said Daesung as we walked out of the lobby. We approached the two black SUVs waiting in front of us.

"Hey, Sam," Mike came to stand right beside me as we continued to walk. "Did you receive a call from Yong-guk this evening?"

"No." My brother and I stopped walking as everyone made their way into the cars. "Did he call you?"

"No, just checking. We really need that instrumental tomorrow, you know?"

"I know. But he promised that he would be done in time. We just have to trust him on that."

"Do I hear someone talking about the song?" came Zoey as she stuck out her head out of the car door to look at us. "Relax, guys. We're going out for a movie and the last thing some of us want to hear is the song."

Mike raised an eyebrow at her. "As if you weren't getting so worked up about the outdoor movie just now," he reminded her.

"That's different," she went on to sit on the car's seat. "Let's go, we don't want to be late."

I gave Mike a smile assuring him that everything's going to be alright. I went in the second car where Zoey and Christine were, while Mike entered the other car.

"Why didn't you go in the other car, Sam?" Christine asked, who sat in the back seat.

"Because I thought this was only for the girls," I said. One of the guards outside the car, closed the door as soon as I got in. "Not that I'm being segregative or anything. Why do you ask?"

"Oh, nothing," Christine looked out of the window.

I looked at her before looking at Zoey who also turned to look out of the window. It didn't take me a minute to realise it.

"You wanted me to be in the same car with Daesung and Seungri, didn't you?" I asked as I took turns to look at them.

"Hey, you said it, not me," said Christine as she raised her hands.

"Ya, like Christine said," said Zoey as she looked at me.

"Unbelievable," I said as the car's engine roared to life and started to move. "Admit it. The guilt is written all over your faces."

"Fine," Zoey admitted. "Sadly your brothers were smart to read the situation."

"Thank goodness I have them around. Being in the same car alone with those two would be awkward."

"I get what you mean, considering that they like you."

I chuckled, trying to hide my blush. "They don't like me that much."

"Do we really have to start going through the list of things Seungri has brought you since we came here and why he nicknamed you his panda?" Christine asked.

"And do you want me to describe how Daesung looks at you when you aren't looking?" Zoey asked as she giggled. "Trust me, his looks are just adorable when he does."

"No, thanks," I said as I folded my arms. "Ya, I'll admit, they both like me. You don't have to rub it in."

Zoey and Christine looked at each other and giggled. I rolled my eyes at them.

"Don't get upset, Sam," said Zoey. "We just find your love life so interesting. It's weird how so many guys like you."

"Charm," said Christine as she tapped Zoey on the shoulder. "That's what she has."

"And the brains. Sam's really smart. And let's not forget, she's pretty too."

"You talk as if you all don't have interesting love lives," I said, my arms still folded.

"We don't, right, Christine?" Zoey asked.

"Ya, that's true," Christine quickly answered. I could hear her voice sound a little weird. She can't fool me now that I know about the message Jinwoo sent her.

"Let me not start," I said as I looked in front of me. "If I tell you, Zoey, that you like Mino and he likes you back, you'll totally deny it."

"What?" Zoey asked. I turned to look at her and I found her looking back at me. With the street lights making their way through the window as the car drove, I could see her face flush with embarrassment.

"It's true," I said, giving her a smile.

"No, it's not," Zoey also folded her arms and looked out of the window. "If you think I like Mino, then you're wrong. If anything, Christine seems to like Jinwoo."

"No, I don't!" Christine quickly rejected.

I smirked. This is exactly where I wanted this conversation to go. I should be careful not to reveal that Jinwoo declared that he likes Christine. It's time I played around with these two since they like to make fun of me.

"Well, it's true," Zoey said to Christine turning to look at her.

"Well, you look at Mino with googly eyes all the time, do you know that?" Christine asked.

The two of them continued to argue with each other while I sat there and smiled. I had to admit, it felt good to watch them argue.

"You know, what? This isn't taking us anywhere," said Zoey. I'm impressed that she finally found all of this pointless.

"Ya, you're right," said Christine looking a little downtrodden.

I finally burst out laughing and bent my head back a little. I could tell that they were looking at me, thinking I'm laughing like a maniac.

"Goodness, this sure is something," I said, wiping the tears out of my eyes.

"You did all of this on purpose, didn't you?" Christine asked.

"And what if I did?" I turned to look at her. "Now you know how it feels when you taunt me over such things."

"Wow, Sam," said Zoey, looking at me all surprised. "Who would've thought that you could be so sinister?"

I shrugged. "Beats me."

"Well, played Sam," said Christine. I noticed her giving me the stink eye.

"Now that that's over," said Zoey turning to look out the window. "Where do you think we're going for the movie?"

"Not sure," I answered. "Daesung and Seungri didn't say."

"It's obviously going to be at a park," said Christine.

"We'll be heading to Gangbuk-gu Park," answered the driver in front of us. "It's also known as Dream Forest and is very famous for hosting outdoor movies."

"Thank you, sir," I answered and he smiled back at us through the rear view mirror. I turned to the others. "Well, that answers our question."

"Didn't we pass through there when we first came on tour?" Zoey asked.

"We did, but we didn't take a good look around the place, that's if I remember correctly," said Christine.

I agreed with her. "That's true. We had so many places to go to back then."

"If this place is as good as the good sir says, then we're in for a treat," said Zoey.

"We should be arriving soon," the driver told us.

"That's good. You know, outdoor movies are so romantic when it's a date."

"Lucky for Sam, she has two guys to be her date," said Christine. "But won't she've to pick between one of them?"

I rolled my eyes when Zoey laughed and agreed. I soon pulled out my phone.

"What do you guys think of inviting Mino and Jinwoo too?" I asked.

"Okay, okay, we get it," said Christine.

I smiled and noticed right out of the window that we were approaching the park. It might be night time, but with the help of the street lamps along the main road we were able to see it. And from a distance we could see a line of cars parked outside the park's premises, some of them parked alongside the main road. Seems we've a lot of outdoor movie fans.

The car soon parked alongside the road just outside the park behind the other car where Mike and the others were. Zoey quickly opened the door and stepped out. Christine and I followed.

"Ah!" Zoey exclaimed as she had her arms up in the air, giving herself a good stretch. "Can't wait to watch this movie."

"Don't get too excited," said Daesung as he came to join us. "You might find it's in Korean and would've to read the subtitles."

I chuckled. "Don't worry about that. We've been watching a few Korean series with subtitles and have grown quite used to it."

"Though it hurts my eyes sometimes," said Christine as she rubbed them.

"That's good," said Daesung. He turned around to see Mike, Daniel and Seungri standing beside the car they were in. I noticed Mike and Daniel each carrying woven picnic baskets.

"Come on, guys," Seungri waved at us. "We need to find a good spot before the movie starts."

Zoey and Christine quickly went to join them while Daesung and I followed, not rushing ourselves at all. We were escorted by three body guards, one in front, leading the way and two behind us. They were dressed like ordinary civilians so you couldn't tell they were bodyguards.

"It's nice we're doing this," said Daesung as we entered the park's premises. There were many people attending the movie.

I smiled at Daesung. "After such a long day, I'm glad we could all just relax with a movie."

"You'll be pretty busy from now on. I hope you'll find the time to relax."

"I hope so too. But the only time we're ever going to rest is after we make the album."

Daesung gave me a brief glance. "You're right. But even just for a little while won't hurt."

"Thanks, Daesung," I said as we walked down a path with street lamps on either side, leading to where the outdoor movie is being held.

"He's so sweet," said Zoey who walked in front of us. "He really does care about you."

"He cares about all of us, Zoey," I said, trying to stress a point.

Zoey and Christine giggled while my two brothers gave them irritated looks. Seungri on the other hand just turned his head to give me a cocky smile and a wink followed soon after. I ended up blushing. I wish this drama can subside during the movie. I just wanted a quiet time with everyone.

I felt Daesung lean in closer onto my shoulder. I felt our hands slightly brush each other and I could tell from the way he slightly touched my hand with his fingers that he wanted to hold it. I felt my head boil over.

"Zoey's right on that one," Daesung whispered, enough for me to hear. "I do care about you a lot."

I gulped. If I wanted to have a quiet time watching the movie, I would've have to sit in between my brothers tonight.

How did everything get weird so quickly? I hope nothing far weirder happens during the movie.
