*His Diary*
"I could've told her, told that bitch a lot more about herself. But I felt sorry for her. She didn't wish her face to be like that, nor her wits to be beneath her head."
"She'd deserve that. She is so needy, and desperate. Why doesn't she leave you alone?" Her silky hair blows on my face as she snuggles close to my chest. It's irritating. But I smile as she looks at me, and pecks on my lower lip.
"It's my fault, babe.I didn't think it would be so hard to get rid of her. I shouldn't have lead her on. I didn't know anyone here, she was one of the first people who talked to me. One of the first friends I've had in this town, and I feel sorry for her. She used to look at me with so much longing..."
"If you feel so much for her, just go and fuck her! Stay away from me!"
She pushes me away and walks away in rage. Damn.
"Mels! Mels!"
She doesn't turn.
"Melissa!" I run to catch her up and turns her face to make her look at me.
"Babe, you don't understand. I don't have feelings for her, only for you." I say, putting my hands through her waist and pulling her closer. She slaps my hand away.
"You know baby, how much I love you. How many times have you asked for something that I haven't gotten for you? I'd sail through the world to bring whatever your heart desires." Cheesy."And let's face it, who would ever feel anything for that girl when they can have you?"
Melissa finally looks at me with a smirk. This bitch turns me on so bad.
"Listen, just listen." I pull her close to myself and slide my hands over her back. Damn, that ass is to die for!
"You, baby girl, are the only thing that matters. Not her. People may feel sorry for the fat-ass, but honestly, who would even look at her twice?"
"Then why are you still with her?" Melissa asks, "You know how pathetic it is to listen to her talking about you, with heart shaped eyes, and all the time I'm trying to show her where she belongs, and I can't. The way she talks about you, it's like she has never loved anyone else as much as she loves you. Bah- love!" She walks away with her nose in the air.
I feel a pang at the words and quickly brush it off. Running after Melissa, I take hold of her hand and pulls her to face me.
"And you'd be happy to show me off, wouldn't you?" I say with a mischievous smirk, which falters as I go on, "Mels, you really think you need to pull her down, I mean," she glares at me, "I mean everyone knows that you're the queen here. And she's a little more than a nobody. Hardly anyone knows her name, and they know her as Melissa Meyer's sidekick. What more do you need?"
Melissa places her hands on my chest and pushes me away with such force that I tumble, and fall. She advances on me, much like a bull who's been shown red.
"What more?" she shouts. "You realise what that bitch has done to my reputation ever since she started going out with you? You are the son of the biggest business tycoon in the town, and it's her you chose. May I ask you, Shahbad Sheikh, what do I owe this insult to?"
Your head full of shite.
"Listen, babe. You know that purse you saw the other day? That crocodile hide one?"
See, easy.
I knew as I walk back to home, I was being unfair to Azalea. She is annoying, yes. But she has been helpful to me, though at times I suspect it's because of my father's reputation and money. Still, it doesn't excuse what I said to her the other day. I was angry at her for rejecting my proposal, but not as much as I was at Melissa. Melissa poked fun at me for being in a relationship with Az, and it got reflected on her, because I couldn't tell Melissa off. She is the one who is anything that matters around here, and I need her to be mine. And anyone or anything else can just buzz off elsewhere.
