It had been a few days since Dyrroth killed the big bro, one of the three agents officially sent by the evil organization to find out the whereabout of the MLBB System. And the fact that a long time had passed with no news made a person angry.
"Argh, why is there no news about those three brothers?"
Clark was impatient, he had been following the three brothers to find out who had taken his system. But since he came to Dawn kingdom, there had been no news about them, no gruesome murder, no cannibalism case, just nothing after that case of cannibalism at the airport.
"Ugh, look like they already met unfortunate fate, which means I don't have any clue and I will have to investigate myself." Clark talked to himself.

Meanwhile, another person was also impatient.
At the Archbishop's estate,
"That child hasn't come yet?" Archbishop McKenna asked impatiently.
"Yes, Your Eminence!" his assistant priest answered him.
"Hmm...look like he wants to avoid me...no no no, that's judgmental of me...maybe he forgot...then we will have to meet him directly again." the Archbishop talked to his assistant, while trying to create a plan about the scenarios he might face.

In the evening, a black car stopped in front of the casino. Patrick stepped out of the car. Today, he would be inspecting the works of his business.
"Greetings, big boss!" said the manager of the casino when he saw Patrick.
Then he led Patrick upstairs.
"How's business lately?" Patrick asked, while looking at Kai, who was carrying a tea pot, standing beside the manager.
"Ohoho, everything is good. Business is flourishing." answered the manager, who then made a signal for Kai to go forward and pour a tea cup for the big boss.
"Don't worry. I won't bring wine until I'm 21." said Patrick.
The manager was puzzled ("I don't have anything to do with your drinking habit before or after 21 years old."), but actually Patrick was telling Kai, the tea pot carrier, who was worrying if his friend was drinking under age or not.
<
Patrick was taken aback and nearly spitting all the tea in his mouth to the face of the manager.
Patrick turned around from his seat and look downstairs. He could see a man in red suit going in.
("System, is that the dangerous man?") he asked.
<
---
Clark, in his red suit, walked in the biggest casino, plus nightclub, of the city. He knew this was a place where many powerful figures came to play, and powerful figures will have more important things to talk and gossip than those housewives.
"Hello there!"
Clark turned around and he could see a boy in black suit with gold trim walking toward him.
"You are? he asked.
"I'm Boss Silver, the owner of this casino!" Patrick said.
("Huh, not Boss Chip?") Clark was puzzled.
"In case you are puzzled by those slow-to-update tour guide books, Boss Chip landed himself in prison and he sold this place to me." Patrick said.
"What did he do?" Clark asked.
"He sold drugs." Patrick answered.
---
Patrick led the man to a table.
"How's about a game, honorable customer?" Patrick asked.
"Of course!" Clark asked.
<
<
<
Patrick turned to Kai and said: "Go and serve other! I will be the dealer...don't look at me like that!"
Kai turned around and go to report to the manager about Patrick's decision.
"What game do you want to play?" Patrick turn around and asked Clark.
"Blackjack!"
"Alright!"
---
"E-he-he, you are busted!" Patrick said, smiling.
Clark looked at his cards, 9 of Spades, 4 of Hearts, and 9 of Diamonds. He could not believe that he had gone bust 10 times in a round. He looked at Patrick's cards, 2 of Diamonds, 8 of Clubs and King of Spades.
("It's impossible to have such SSS-tier luck! This brat is definitely cheating.") Clark thought.
"Hey, boss!"
"What can I help you?" Patrick looked at Clark and smiled.
"You owned this place so you must be one of the most influential person in this kingdom. And you must know so many things happening in this country."
"You're correct." Patrick replied.
"Did anything weird happen?" he asked.
"What do you mean . . . I'm just kidding . . . Don't look at men like that. The truth is there's a cannibal case..."
"I already heard about that!"
"Oh, sorry. I forget that the case was very famous. Well, the Taoists in the country is becoming more active lately. It's like they have g-a-i-n s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g powerful and valuable. But I'm not sure, they are so secretive." said Patrick.
("Wait, it makes sense. Those three brothers are . . . were demons and the Taoists' job was vanquishing demons. The three brothers' investigation led them to the Taoists, who killed them. That's why there's no news about them anymore.") Clark thought.
Clark stood up and said: "Sorry, I have to go now!"
"Wait, where are you going? You have to pay 1 million cellons for the information." Patrick said.
"Well, I don't have that much money on me right now."
"It's alright to sign this paper and pay the money through the bank within 3 days."
"Fine!" said Clark.
---
After signing the contract, Clark was prepared to go out before Patrick stopped him.
"What?" Clark was getting frustrated.
"500,000 cellons for losing the game, please!" Patrick said.
"You money-grubber!"
"Hehe, you are not wrong, I will do a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g for money. As long as you pay the right price, we could be 'allies'." Patrick said.
Clark's eyes began to show some disdain, but he smiled and threw 500,000 cellons onto the table.
"I hope you will come again, honorable customer!" Patrick said while Clark was going out.
<
<
<
<
<
("You stingy!")
Patrick turned around and threw 100,000 cellons to Kai, who successfully caught it.
"What is it for?" asked Kai.
"Your allowance this month." Patrick replied.
"Allowance my foot . . . no, what did I just say?"
"It seems like you have learnt quite a bit of the language inside this place. Be careful, don't let our classmates know. Ahaha!"
***
("I can't believe he could demand me to pay with that bright face of his. Although I hate that kind, but he will be useful.") thought Clark ("So the Taoists, right?")
