My friend rose and I were on our way down to the market. On our way there we both felt a tap on our shoulder we jolted around there was a little boy around the age of 8 just standing there and staring. We both didn't know what to say so I said something.

"Hi I'm Lilly can we help you with something."I said.

"Hi I'm Liam." He replied.

"Do you need something?"I asked

"No it's just I haven't seen a real person in a while that's all."

"Um well ok we are going to go so bye!"I said kinda annoyed

"Ok bye." Liam replied

That was strange I whispers to rose. Yea she whispers back. It was pretty cold outside so we were hustling down to the shop now since we both can't drive I'm 10 and she's 10 to,if you think about it if we put our ages together we're 20,right?

We finally arrived at the store and we ran straight to the bakery to get some warm air. Now we are off to get the rest of our groceries and then we feel a small Tap on my shoulder. Sigh.

"Hello." I say almost annoyed

"Hi."

It's Liam. Why is he following rose and I.

" stop following us." I almost yell

"Fine." He says annoyed

He ran down the isle. Weird I mumble . Rose nudges me and I turn around. She told me she got the food already.I'm so surprised she isn't bothered by that little boy. And then I look at her hand that's why she hasn't been listening. Rose get off you're phone. She sighed. Rose? Earth to rose. No response. Sigh. I'm going home almost yell she nods but doesn't look back.

I'm walking home and I feel sick to my stomach I'm knowing I left my best friend behind. In my head all I'm thinking about is rose ,and I trip over a darn hole in the sidewalk. Ouch I say in a soft tone it was almost a whisper. It hurts so bad I hope rose is coming but she probably isn't so I stand up and start heading home with a limp in my step. I make it home and wrap up my leg to make sure I don't hurt it more.Where is rose, I am starting to worry about her. I am going to get some sleep and hopefully she will be here when I wake up.
