Draco POV:
When I sat down in the Great Hall, I sat alone. I felt bad for what I said earlier. I don't know why Alex started crying, I hope I didn't take it too far. Is there something I don't know? I hope I didn't screw this up.
Alex was beautiful. She had gorgeous waist-length black hair and forest green eyes. I did fancy her a bit, but I was raised to treat mudbloods badly. I didn't mind if someone was a mudblood or pureblood, but my father did. He is the source of my evilness. But nobody sees what I've been through. I act the way I do because of my father and his work, which will soon be my work too.
I sat at the Slytherin table, resting my chin in my palm, my fingers on my cheek. And I saw Alex walk in. Her eyes red and puffy, and she had dark circles under her eyes. It looks as if she had been crying for hours. When she faced me my eyes opened so wide. Oh shit, did I do this?
Suddenly, a huge wave of guilt flashed over me. I can't keep looking at her, cause that's fishy right? I mean I made her cry and now I can't take my eyes off of her? I turned my head to face Crabbe and Goyle. They were talking nonsense, stuff I didn't want to listen to. I turned my head to see Alex, but she was gone.
I made my way out of the Great Hall and started to search for her. This might sound creepy, but I watched her sometimes. I look out of the common room and see her at that tree by the lake. That was the next place I knew I had to check. I checked the common room and even walked into the girls' dormitory. Nope. So then I quickly walked, almost ran to the lake.
And there she was.
She wasn't crying. She looked like she was almost smiling. That's weird but good.
"Montgomery," I said, my voice hard but still filled with worry.
She jumped and turned her head to me.

Alex POV:
"What do you want Malfoy? Why would you want to take to a filthy little mudblood like me?" I mocked him. My voice was still raspy.
"I wanted to see if you were okay," he said, his voice hard, but filled with concern, or maybe worry.
"Does it look like I'm fucking okay Malfoy? Look what you've done to me! I was finally happy here at Hogwarts, I'm not the punching bag here! Unless I thought so, until you came along in my life." his face changed color, from vibrant pink to pale white.
I just revealed my darkest secret to my bully.

Draco POV:
What the hell did she mean by punching bag?
"Please, please forget I said that," she said while her voice was breaking.
"No, what do you mean punching bag?" I couldn't control myself, I knew it was a bad question but I just had to ask.
"Just nevermind Malfoy, I'm sorry for anything I've done to you to make you treat me this way."
Her words hit me like a bullet.
I quickly pulled her in and pressed my lips against hers. Her lips were so soft, I could just imagine kissing them everyday. I could never be with her though. Imagine what my father would think about this! The kiss lasted for about a quick 5 seconds. But honestly, they were the best 5 seconds of my life.
She pulled away but I pulled her right back in closer to me. Very close. "You will not speak of this ever. Not to Pansy, not to you Gryffindor friends, not to anyone" I stated sternly. Her face turned bright red and she looked confused. And with that I walked away.
