I reread the text over and over to make sure what Blaze texted me was right. By the seventh time, I finally accepted what I just read was not just what my mind thought it was.
I quickly texted her back, my hands shaking.
"What?! Is she and Lylith okay? How many are there? Should I bring Aiden?"
"Calm down! Just get here and I'll answer your questions, but hurry cause Parker and I can't hold all of them or even Delilah by ourselves."
I turned my phone off and grabbed my jacket. I ran and grabbed my shoes that rested near the front door and Aiden was still standing there, watching me. I reached for the door handle, but Aiden placed his hands over my shoulders.
I turned my gaze back at Aiden and stared back into his worried expression. "Woah woah, calm down. Are you okay?"
He moved his hands to my cheeks and hovered over them. I opened the door handle.
"Aiden this isn't the time! We have to go!"
He titled his head to the side and I rolled my eyes, grabbing one of his hands that were still hovering over my cheeks. I dashed out of the house with Aiden behind me.
I received a text and looked at my phone to see a text from Blaze, telling me the address.
"Keys."
Aiden got his keys out and threw them over at me and I caught them, unlocking the car. I opened the door and unlocked the other doors and Aiden slid in the passengers seat. I got in a little nervous.
I did have my license, I just wasn't used to driving that much. My transportation were mostly my legs or I'd have my friends drive me to locations.
"Lowkey, kinda nervous that I'm driving." I mumbled, not even meaning to say that out loud.
He laughed. "I'm not going to sit here and lie, but I am kind of nervous too."
I laughed, nervously as I started the car and the engine roared to life. From the corner of my eye, I could see Aiden looking out the window.
As I stopped at the red light, I placed my hand over the center console. A few seconds later and I felt something touch the tip of fingers. I flinched and looked over to see the tips of Aiden's fingers touch mine.
I looked at our hands and I put my hand back on the sterling wheel. I heard him sigh under his breath and instantly felt a feeling of guilt wash over my entire body.
The whole car ride was awkward. He didn't start a conversation like usual and I felt a little guilty that it was because of me, but at the same time that'd mean he wouldn't keep flirting and making small moments between us.
It was better than playing with his feelings. That's for sure.
After twenty minutes of driving, we finally arrived and the first thing I noticed were two people fighting and three other guys watching.
There was another person trying to restrain one of the fighters and two girls watching with one of them behind the other looking terrified. I instantly recognized who those people were.
I got out with Aiden, locking the car and sprinting over to the four guys and my friends. I had a lot of experience with fighting so that helped with situations like this.
"Hey!" I yelled and the guy who was beating up Delilah looked over at me and I punched his jaw.
He groaned and got up, leaving Blaze on the ground. I looked over at her and saw a black eye, blood running down her lip and nose, and a scratch on her thigh.
I clenched both fists at the guy.
"So hot stuff can punch? Come on, show me what you-"
I punched his chin.
He fell to the ground and groaned in pain and looked up to me and I smirked at him in amusement.
"Please that was pathetic." He lied, getting up slowly and brought his fists up.
"But try and hit me again, I'll go eas-," and before he could finish, I had punched his cheek and I saw blood as he fell to the ground.
I kicked his stomach while he laid on the floor in pain and kept coughing up blood. I grabbed his face and hissed, "You ever mock or disrespect any of my friends, next time I'll castrate and dismember you."
I threw his head back on the ground and kicked his nuts before leaving, making him groan even louder. I ran towards Delilah and held her hand as Lylith held her in her arms.
She kept coughing and Lylith couldn't stop crying. The guys friends brought him up and they all fast-walked to their car and drove off. Blaze placed her hand on my back and rewarded me with a smile. Then I remembered why I even decided to text her in the first place.
I took a deep breath and brought Blaze away from everyone. She titled her head in confusion.
"Blaze, I need to ask you something." Was all I managed to say through a dry throat.
"What is it?"
I looked to my side and stared at my friends who were surrounding Delilah, and she was wrapping her arms around Lylith. I looked back at Parker and saw him slightly smiling and then I turned my focus back to Blaze and folded my arms.
"What's going on between you and Parker?"

A Few Hours Later
I sat on my couch, dangling my legs over it as I watched the movie I had been watching for the last two hours.
It was a horror movie, which I might add sucks. The movie wasn't even scary.
I gave up on trying to enjoy the ahem, horror movie, and went to the kitchen to get some water. My stomach growled as I got out my water and I ignored it.
I was starving, the only food I had was a banana and that was hours ago. I had mostly been trying to lose the hunger by hydration, but that hadn't been working.
I've only been losing my thirst.
I threw myself on the couch and looked for an actual horror movie. I finally found one to my liking and played it as I took a sip of my water.
I heard a knock on the door and paused the movie as I got up, placing my water on the table.
Probably Parker or Blaze. I said to myself as I unlocked the door and opened it.
To my surprise, the person at my door was neither of them. It was Aiden. I opened the door, slightly and stared at him.
Oh god, I know where this is going.
"Aiden? What are you doing here?"
He smiled. "I wanted to checkup on you since last night was kind of rough for you."
I raised an eyebrow. Sometimes I wished he wasn't so caring and benign. He was too nice for his own good.
"I think we both know that after last night, I'm drinking nothing, but water." I responded, still holding the door slightly. I opened it further and got outside, uninviting him. But I don't think he understood that tiny gesture.
"I know I know. I just want to make sure you're okay." he said, placing his hand over my cheek, cupping it.
I bit the inside of my lip.
"I worry about you, Robin. You act so tough around people, but you don't have to around me. You can trust me."
I bit my lip harder until I started tasting blood. Stop, I don't want this.
"Can't you see that I-," He leaned in closer, "That I-." He didn't finish, he only leaned in closer till his lips slightly brushed over mine.
I gulped in return.
"Aiden, sto-," He cut me off, "Robin, I know you have issues with things like this because of your ex, but I should have told you this a long time ago."
I tried to back away, but realized I had nowhere to go since my back was pressed against the front door. I looked back at Aiden and he twirled a strand of my hair then put it behind my ear, preparing his next words and actions.
"Robin...I like-," Now it was my turn to interrupt him, "Aiden, stop."
He stared at me with confusion and backed away. "What do you mean?" He asked.
"I can't do this. Not right now, Aiden. This isn't right." I begin, saying three different responses.
I placed my hand behind my back, opening the door. "Aiden, this isn't right."
He walked closer to me and I opened the door more, "What? Am I doing something wrong? If I'm making you uncomfortable, I'm not meaning to-,"
I interrupted him again, "It's not that, well kind of, but I honestly can't do this. This isn't right." I answered before he could finish sentence.
"What's not right?"
I opened the door. "All of this." And with that, I closed my door in his face and backed away from it. I felt a shiver run down my spine and my palms started getting sweaty.
I had never been that uncomfortable since last night. I mean, it hasn't been a full day since it happened, but I still couldn't believe Aiden was about to confess his feelings to me.
Actually never mind, I saw that coming all the way from Canada.
I took a deep breath and drank some of my water before unpausing the movie and laying back down on it.
About thirty minutes later and I heard a knock on the door. This time I made sure it was Parker or Blaze and felt a side of relief when I saw Blaze and only Blaze.
She walked in and grabbed water from my kitchen, inviting herself in. Blaze was that friend to immediately make herself at home/comfortable at any place. Any.
She took a deep breath and placed her hands over my counter. I arched an eyebrow as she lifted her head up, staring back at me while biting her lip. She took another breath and put her focus back on me.
"You wanted to know what's going on between Parker and I?" She asked and I nodded.
"Why else would I ask that question?"
There's a million different things that could be going on, but my top three had to be right. They all connected to the same thing and even though it wasn't a Blaze thing to be falling for someone, especially Parker, you can never be too sure around this girl.
"It's a long story." She muttered to herself, but I was able to pick up what she said. I don't even think she meant for me to hear that, let alone say it out loud.
I checked the time and looked back at her.
"Good thing we have plenty of time. It is Saturday."
She sighed and grabbed out a bottle of wine that was my mother's.
Should have seen this coming.
"Might as well tell you while I'm drunk."
"Why must you be drunk?"
She cleared her throat, "So I don't remember telling you this? Obviously." She grabbed out a glass cup and poured some of the liquid into it and drank it.
I rolled my eyes. "When you're ready."
