Later that evening as Jumoke was packing up to leave her office and close for the day, Uchenna walked in with a broad smile on his face.
"Ready to leave?" He asked her.
"You truly came. I thought I asked you not to bother?" Jumoke asked him as she picked up her handbag.
"And I thought I told you, I don't mind being your chauffeur until you get your car fixed?"
Jumoke smiled, slightly shaking her head at him as she followed him to where his car was parked.
"I keep forgetting how stubborn you can be," she said, referring to when Uchenna was younger and he used to defy his elder sisters' orders.
"Truly, Uchenna, you don't have to worry about coming to pick me up, I'm sure you have better things to do with your time."
"Yeah, better things like picking you up from work," Uchenna responded opening the passenger's door for her to go in.
