The following morning, Tunde was preparing to leave for work, Sophia came to help him with his tie.
"Thanks," Tunde said.
"T?" Sophia's tone was low.
"Yes?" Tunde brought down his head to look at her.
"What you said the other day about wanting to have a child, were you serious?" Sophia asked him.
Tunde placed his right hand on her cheek, "Soph, since you've known me, have I ever told you something which I didn't mean?"
"No, it's just...."
"Baby, I wouldn't say something like that if I wasn't serious about it," Tunde said. "I want to have a child with you, or maybe even children, if God allows it. If you are scared I might change my mind, then you have nothing to worry about, because I have my mind made up already. Except you've changed your mind about having children?" He searched her face for an answer.
