The following morning, Sophia woke up to see Tunde staring at her, "good morning," she said with a yawn.
"Good morning, sunshine," Tunde greeted her with a smile. He had his elbow propped up on the bed with his head resting on his palm, his eyes not leaving her face.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Sophia asked him.
"You are beautiful," Tunde said softly, his eyes caressing her face. Sophia blushed.
"Aww," she curled her arm around his neck as he came down and kissed her lips. He had missed waking up next to his wife in the mornings. These past days that they both stayed apart was the worst for him, and he didn't want them to ever be apart for that long, never again.
"I have been doing a lot of thinking," Tunde said after pulling away from their kiss.
"About what?" Sophia asked.
"Us, having kids," Tunde said.
