Shadowfalls is a realm that falls prey to evil and corruption. It is unknown how the realm came to be. Shadowfalls Residence is the very heart of the toxic realm. Only dark creatures like demons and vampires reside here and any humans are unfortunately treated like cattle and slaves. Due to the lack of sunlight the realm is permanently frozen in darkness. Humans fear this realm because once you enter it's near impossible to escape. A human's soul will eventually become tainted and corrupted from long periods of time spent in Shadowfalls.
