A shush greeted Xiao Feng, he was in shock that he froze. He didn't realize that a woman could be this beautiful up close.
The guards of the Su family passed the alley with no suspicion. Xiao Feng and the woman is currently safe from harm.
"You better express your gratitude, pervert."
Xiao Feng raised his eyebrows in confusion. 'When did I become a pervert?' is what he asked himself.
Although he was distracted for a rough minute, Xiao Feng became serious again. The woman wasn't suspicious but he became cautious and held a dagger near her throat.

The woman saw the intentions in his eyes and raised her hands for truce. Xiao Feng asked her questions and gained information of the Su family.
The Su family is nothing but a wealthy family in this city; only fools would believe that. This family have connections with Mystic Shadow Arts that comes from the Fang clan.
Shadow Arts is considered as a demonic art for it requires a cultivator to commit one of the seven sins and have a contract with a demon.
For a cultivator to summon a demon, you must perform a ritual and present an offering for it to appear. The blood of a mortal is a common offering.
"Lady Bai, as you've said, you come from the main branch of the Bai clan. The west is far so what brings you here?"

Xiao Feng nodded his head as a goodbye and continued the investigation he started. Bai Meifeng went back to the Bai Manor and met with one of her shadow guards for a conversation.
Xiao Feng managed to enter the Su Manor without suspicions of the servants and continued the pace. He had to hid behind a wall to prevent getting caught by the eldest young master.
Without realizing that he stepped back, Xiao Feng bumped into the young lady of the manor. He covered her mouth with no hesitation and dragged her to a dark room.
The young lady managed to escape Xiao Feng's grasp when he bit his hand. He groaned slightly and grabbed her hand with too much force.
"It hurts."
Xiao Feng released his grip and apologized. Once again, he met a beauty. The young lady was annoyed and threatened him with a justified reason.
Xiao Feng reassured the young maiden that he didn't trespass the Su Manor to do anything filthy.
The young lady gave him her trust and loyalty then Xiao Feng allowed her to leave. Dong He appeared once the young lady's presence disappeared.
"This family has connections with the traitorous Fang clan."
"Looks like the information I obtained from Lady Bai was indeed reliable. Master, do you have a grudge on the Fang clan."
"That clan created the powerful Mystic Shadow Arts that withhold the exact power of the original Mystic Arts. The Huangs were destroyed by this clan."
