Chereads / The Great Prodigy Master of Mystic Qi / Chapter 6 - End of History

Chapter 6 - End of History

In the following years, a war broke out and Huang Peizhi had to protect everyone. I fought beside him with my fellow brothers and sisters. Leaving the weakest of us to protect Lady Xiao from danger.

This war is called the Reaper's Festival, with the sacrificial death of innocent lives.

Most importantly, Master couldn't focus because Lady Xiao was in the midst of childbirth. He wanted to end his battle quick and return safely but that didn't happen.

The intense fight between martial artists caused destruction between towns, cities and kingdoms. This was the last war where it then was recorded that Master Huang Peizhi died together with the enemy's leader.

Our mystic qi had limits and we had to exceed it. In order for that to happen, we bought every pill that can help everyone in the war.

Unfortunately, some died of overdose. The battlefield painted the ground with blood and the air was polluted with smoke.

Those who were strong yet had weak morale ran for their lives as each side had trump cards in their sleeves. Even powerful tamed beasts were forced to join the war.

One wrong move and death comes right at you. I witnessed cruelty and betrayal after spectating the whole war. I was in the position for reinforcements and Master was in the frontline.

In the midst of survival, Huang Peizhi thought of his family but that gave him the disadvantage. The news of the successful birth of the young master was joyous but then it turned gloomy. Master lost his concentration at battle and disappeared without a trace. People claimed he's dead.

Two years later, I was imprisoned by the enemy and escaped but afterwards I was trapped inside my master's ring.

Abandoned in the deep forest and buried deep within the dirt. I was surprised when Lady Xiao found the ring and I saw a little boy with her. Could that be the young master?

The God of Luck was heartless and I witnessed her untimely death. You were crying your eyes out and I couldn't do anything but look at you with regret.

"Old man, did you exaggerate most of them?"

"Don't you trust me? I'm your father's disciple!"

"Why would I trust a stranger who appeared out of nowhere?"

Xiao Feng started to call Dong He as "Master" with acknowledgement after being trained by him. He removed his bad habits that could delay most of the progress and did extreme training.

After three months, he is at the peak of Demonic Master Rank. Xiao Feng had to train harder from this time because the Elite Exams is approaching.

Although Xiao Lei became curious about what he's doing lately. Xiao Feng had been sneaking around and leaving to the mountains. Xiao Yun ignored it as she had to focus on her own cultivation.

Xiao Feng had a flashback of what Dong He said to him three months ago. "Am I really part of the Huang Clan?" Though he would have doubts because he doesn't trust his master wholeheartedly.

The Reaper's Festival that happened fifteen years ago was a calamity the world couldn't handle. For the greed of power and the unstable justice they all had. They seek themselves as the right and just while the enemy is marked as the wrong.

"Come to think of it. The old man hasn't gave me any advanced skills but he did gave me basic ones. If he doesn't mind at all, then."

"Master, can you give me an advanced skill?"
