Angelica p.o.v.
Walking down the street was cold yet festive. Snow was falling, carol were song. Everyone was just in a joyous, festive mood. Everywhere we looked were decoration and lights. Food such as black cake and ginger bear wee selling. The smell of fresh baked cookies was in the air. I sighed. I love Christmas time.
"I love Christmas. Don't you." I looked at him. The scarf blocked his mouth.
"Christmas celebrate don't we, from came I where." He said. I could believe my ears. "WHAT!" I screamed "You don't celebrate Christmas!? How can a world like that exist?" I huffed annoyingly. Seriously, how can he live with himself. Not ably to celebrate Christmas. A Trini Christmas as well. All the parang playing. Ham baking. Punch a cream mixed with alcohol. All the black cake to eat, sorrel to drink. Shake my head.
"Does mine. Yours what's? Daniel is name my anyways."
I giggled "Angelica is name my."
"Mall the is far how?" He asked.
"It isn't that far. It's one more block away."
"Ok." Huh... The only first normal thing he said.
At the mall, it was festive and bright. In the middle of the mall was a water fountain the had two angle fish on each side. The water flowed from their mouth. The water looked colorful as it reflected all the Christmas lights. The mall had three floors and 58 stores plus on large food court on the first floor to the left side of the mall. The escalator were on the middle of the courts and elevators and stairs were to the side of the mall. Stairs being intellect and elevators to the right. Only 25 people could fit on an elevator though.
"Wonderful is place this. Wow." The lights were beautiful and creatively decorated. The lights were formed to match the stores they were on. Like the clothes store had an outfit in a form of a sign decorated with Christmas lights. Walking, we just looked around.
"Remember, I just came here to buy some hot chocolate so follow me." I pulled his arm and headed to the stairs. Escalator scar me plus, the stairs were the closest to Mr. Saturn's bakery and hot chocolate delight. We headed inside and the wind chimes singing their song.
"Hehe.. well hello there Angelina. I was wondering when you'll come around." That's Mr. Saturn. He is a retired old man from the army forces. After the army, he and his wife, Lauren settle down and opened this shop. Even though he is old, he doesn't look a day over 40. Same with his wife Lauren. Although, he dyes her hair brown every now and then.
"And who is this young fellow? Your boyfriend perhaps?"
"Oh no. The professor doesn't allow me to have a boyfriend. He's has I have to reach 20 before I get someone in my life. Two hot chocolate please with three marshmallows and cream please."
"Kind my kills chocolate. Me for chocolate NO!" I sighed. How does he live on his planet? Seriously, he is missing out on the best things in life.
Mr. Saturn "The boy speaks backwards fluently but.. what did he say?"
"He said that's he's allergic to chocolate. Sorry."
Mr. Saturn "That's okay. Honey, one hot chocolate with three marshmallows and cream please."
Mrs. Lauren "coming up honey."
Mr. Saturn " What's your name boy."
Daniel "Sir, Daniel."
Mr. Saturn "Daniel? That's a great name. Now, what will you like? Order anything you like. It on the house." I was so excited that I kissed Daniel on his lips quickly and I was ready to order. Daniel stood there shocked, touching his lips.
"Okay, I would like a black cake. One sweet bread. Six drops and three donuts and six mini donuts in a box thank you. What about you Daniel?"
Daniel ".... um.. anything really as long as it isn't chocolate or sweet bread. I dislike the taste. Hmm.. drops and a donut without chocolate."
I gasped "chocolate donuts taste the best. There is seriously something with you."
Mr. Saturn "Here you go. Your order of one black cake. One sweet bread. Six drops and three donuts and six mini donuts in a box. All placed in a box except the mini donuts. Your welcome."
"And one hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. And for the gentle, some ginger bear. Hope you enjoy."
"Thank you."
We sat down in a corner by the window in my favorite spot eating and drinking. We were face to face with each other. My mind just compute something, he spoke English fluently and forwards too. I smiled at him and he smiled back but he hide his face under the scarf. "What do, what do you think? You like this place?" I asked Daniel. He nod.
"Yeah. The Mr. Saturn and his wife are wonderful people. And I'm guessing your a regular customer here?"
"Yup. The first time I came her I was nine years old on Christmas day. The professor and I wanted sweets and hot chocolate so we came here. Once I tried Mrs. Lauren hot chocolate, that was it. I came her regularly to buy whatever bakery item I want. Sometimes the professor calls them and makes an order. He makes order more around Christmas time. He doesn't leave the house when it's Christmas." *eats a donut*
Daniel "I see. Well.. it's nothing compared my home planet. There, everyone is rough and violent and hates each other more or less. We behave like savages. We look out for ourselves. Those who were weak like me die."
"Your not weak."
"A strong Pantergar doesn't get captured so easily. And I know what your think, "what in the world is a Pantergar?" Well, a Pantergar are aliens who defend for themselves. It's a strange made up world to you but to my spices, it's the works that describes us."
"So.. being a weak Pantergar means you got captured easily? How did you get captured in the first place?"
Daniel "I came to earth looking for a new place call home. Everyone, including my parents, kicked me out of the planet. I can never return, and if I do, I'll be dead. I'm too soft they said. They have weak Pantergar all over the planet but I'm the weakest of them all. They said 'Even a weak baby would defeat me fuss your so weak. I'll even lose to a wall..." I felt bad for him. Those Pantergar deserve to die.
"Don't study them. They're just jerks. Anyways, it will be Christmas after tomorrow, and well.. you can celebrate with us."
Daniel "Do you think the professor would like that?"
"Of course. I'll manage him to like the idea somehow. Besides, I got you to say with us didn't I?"
"Hehe.. yeah. I can't wait to celebrate my first Christmas. It will be nice."
Back at the professor house. He was placing all the all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher when someone ringed the door. He sighed and answered the door. He had a cigarette in his mouth, he was wearing a blue robe. The person stood outside his house wearing a black top, black jean pants and sneakers. Her hair was in a pony tail and she had a purse.
Professor Zachary "Huh.. I never though I'll see you here."
Alexa "Yeah.. well.. " *blushes slightly* " I just need something from you."
Professor Zachary "Huh.. okay." *smirk*
Alexa "Its not that you idiot! And wipe the stupid smirk of your face!" She hit professor Zachary with her purse much to the his dismay. He sighed and smashed the cigarette in a ash tray that was close to the door. It was on the coat hanger.
Professor Zachary "Okay then. What do you want? Besides taking almost everything from me in court and causing public embarrassed?"
Alexa "The alien. The government and military knows you have it.
They will be coming after you. So, where is it?"
Professor Zachary *holds the back of his neck* "Your not gonna like this."
Professor Zachary told Alexa the bad news and she slapped him with her purse again. He took of his robe revealing a double button shirt and a jean pants. They were in her car driving down the road. She was so furious with him. Furious with an understatement. She wanted to beat him up. There was no telling how much anger she had but her eyes showed danger and hatred to a higher level.
Alexa "HOW COULD YOU LET MY ALIEN BE OUT IN PUBLIC?"
Professor Zachary "He's in human mode. I doubt anyone would notice. Calm down. Your gonna cross the speed limit."
Professor Zachary was smoking a cigarette while leaning on the open window. Out of anger, she took the cigarette out his mouth and pelt it out the window along with his box of cigarettes. Professor Zachary was speechless. He was tempted to say something then he just shut his mouth, watching outside.
Alexa "Out of all the men in the world and I had to marry you!"
Professor Zachary "Bed time was good though." She growled ferociously.She wanted to knock the day light out of him.
Alexa "I can't believe you. Was being in your life to much to ask? You never giving me affect. Took advantage of me and almost made me lost my job! What's wrong with you?" Professor Zachary sighed miserly. He felt like his mother was nagging him to go to school. Professor Zachary placed his head on the Palm of his arm.
Professor Zachary "One, no; You were in my life for two seconds everyday before leaving to go to work. Second, you came onto me, I took control afterwards. Thirdly... I almost made you lost your job? " *scoff* "if I remember clearly, I took the fault your miscalculation. So the real question is, what's wrong with you?"
Alexa "Shut up! Let's just hope we find them before the government do."
Back at the mall, Angelica and Daniel were leaving when stopped them. He was 6 feet tall with short, purple hair combed to the back. His eyes were green like grass on the left, red like fire on the right. Skin white lik snow. He wore fancy outfit and had a smirk on his face.
"Hello there. It seems we have someone who doesn't believe in this world." He said as his red eyes scanned Daniel. "Tat that tat. Hmm.. and who might you be. Ahh, you are one of us. I'm curious, what in the world makes you want to hang out with him when you can have out with me?" His voice was charming yet menacing. It gave out this evil lemon with everyone.. just like a bad guy.
Angelica "I don't know you."
Tank "Right. Names Tank. Yours."
Angelica "Its Angelica. And this is Daniel."
Tank "Hmm... Angelica. Sounds fitting for an angle. Alright then, I will return Daniel here back to the military and claim you as my prize."
"WHAT!" Angelica screamed.
Tank "So glad you agreed. Now, for the alien." Tanks arm turned into a rocket gun and shooting at Daniel. They got of the way while everyone else started screaming, running out of the mall. Daniel turned back into an alien started to fight. With his alien powers he created an orange energy ball and started throw at Tank causing a massive explosion. Tank continues using multiple machinery with special bullets used to kill aliens and special tranquilizers to put Daniel in an external sleep.
It was obvious that Tank was a robot with a specific program built in his system that makes him do material arts and assassin moves. Alongside gymnastics. Tank couldn't fly but didn't miss his shot neither. While the boys fought, Angelica hid at Mr. Saturn's bakery, trying to get in the boys way. At the same time, the professor and Alexa walked in. Alexa hit an electric triangle which made electricity all over the planet go out. This also caused Tank to malfunctioning, falling to his knees.
Professor Zachary "Angelica!"
Angelica ran out of the bakery as she heard her name. Daniel went to her. "Lets get out of here." He said as he took her arm flying down. Daniel was losing his energy so they had run with Alexa and Zachary back to the vehicle. Just then the electricity came back on and Tank growled. "No body makes a fool out of me and gets away with it." He aimed a bullet at the alien and pulled the trigger. With high speed, the bullet filed but entered the wrong person. Angelica sacrificed herself. It got her in the stomach when it exploded. "Angelica!" Daniel cried. He picked her up and ran. Tank was furious. "Damn it." He said growling. Not only because he missed his shot, but the bullet harming his angle. In the flying car, Alexa drove away with high speed.
Daniel "Angelica! Professor, do something."
Professor Zachary "I need my tools but they are back home. Crap!"
Alexa "No time. The government helicopters are everywhere now. Tank must of send a signal to the military and the government about the alien whereabouts. They will be looking for you."
Daniel "What are we going to do then?"
Alexa "Your summer house."
Professor Zachary "You mean the same house we spend that we had our honeymoon in? The same summer house you took from me in court. The same summer house that I brought for us that you take by force?"
Alexa *growled ferociously* "Yes! That one. Now shut up. I still have your tools there. You can use that."
Professor Zachary "At least I still have my summer tools or did you take that and used that too?"
Alexa "Ugh! This is no time to get smart with me!"
Professor Zachary "Well I-"
Daniel "Can you two shut up! Angelica could be dead by now. This is no time to agree. Have your lovers quarrel some time else."
There was silence. The professor directed his full attention back to Angelica. Alexa focused on the road. (Hmm... He speaks fluent English forward in 45 minutes than he did for several months. I guess, he can be taught. Hmm.. I hope Angelica will be alright.) Alexa
