A journey from within By Hannah McAllister

Hi there, my name is Mizu Otosu. I am a 1st Year student at Kireina Academy. I don't have many friends. Except this one kid who follows me around. But I'll tell you about him later. I also work at a book store called Shiori's. Something different about my world though is a parasite in all humans called vezkars. Veskars feed on human emotion. They are what slowly kill you. But sometimes it gets so bad the can control and kill you. That is what happened with my dad Itami Otosu. Now I am 16. This is where my journey begins.
