I'm out on the ship looking for anything. 'Maybe it's just another dead end', I thought. But suddenly, there's a beam of light comes out of nowhere. On the ship, a boy with black and red armor and a ponytail stares at it.
"Finally," He says. He turns to a man who's also wearing armor. "Uncle, do you realize what this means?!"
The other man Iroh, is playing a card game that have element symbols on it.
"I won't get to finish my game?" He asked.
The boy with the ponytail turns around to face the light. "It means my search is about to come to an end. That light came from an incredibly powerful source. It has to be him!"
Iroh continues playing his card game. "Or it's just the celestial lights. We've been down this road before Prince Zuko. I don't want you to get too excited over nothing. Please sit. Why don't enjoy a cup of calming Jasmine tea?
Zuko furiously turns to Iroh. "I don't need any calming tea! I need to capture the Avatar!" He points to the direction where the light came from. "Helmsman, head a course for the light!"
I can't believe it. The Avatar is alive? I though he he was dead for 100 years. Even if we capture him, I don't think that Zuko will regain his title as crowned Prince of the Fire Nation. Speaking of Zuko, he's still on the help of the ship. I walk to him and he turns around.
"You're sure that Avatar could possibly be alive?" I asked him.
"He has to be. Anything could have made that light."
Iroh approaches us and yawns. "I'm going to bed now. Yep. A man needs his rest. Prince Zuko, you need some sleep. Even if you're right, and the Avatar is alive, you won't find him. Your father, grandfather and great-grandfather all tried and failed."
Zuko still looks at the sea but responds, "Because their honor didn't hinge on the Avatar's capture. Mine does. This coward's hundred years in hiding are over."

Later on, Zuko is facing two Fire Nation soldiers for firebending practice. Iroh sits on a small chair to observe.
"Again", he says sternly.
Zuko opens the fight by spreading his arms in the direction of the two firebenders, showering them with flames. His adversaries block Zuko's attack with ease. Zuko shifts his weight to duck under a retaliation blast of the firebender to his left. The firebender to his right jumps forward to aim a blast at Zuko's feet. The prince propels himself out of the way. He twists around in mid-air and directs another fire blast with his hand to the firebender that retaliated first, and another with his foot to the firebender that aimed for his feet. Both soldiers jump out of the way of Zuko's flames. Zuko lands and stretches his fists out toward his adversaries, ready to face another attack.
Iroh sighs while getting up, walking to Zuko. "No,"
Zuko lowers his fists and looks at his uncle.
"Power in firebending comes the breath," He moves his hands in front of home the emphasize the breathing motion. "Not the muscles. The breath becomes energy in the body. The energy extends past your limbs and becomes: fire!" Iroh creates a small fire blast at Zuko and it evaporates. "Get it right this time."
"Enough! I've been drilling this sequence all day. Teach me the next set! I'm more than ready!" Zuko tells him.
Iroh sits back on his chair. "No, you are impatient. You have yet to master your basics. Do it again!"
Zuko growls in anger. He turns around and kicks a stream of fire at one of the soldiers. He tries to block it, but is knocked down.
Zuko walks up to Iroh."The Sages tell us that the Avatar is the last airbender. He must be over a hundred years old by now. He's had a century to master the four elements! I'll need more than basic firebending to defeat him. You will teach me the advanced set!"
"Very well," Iroh states reluctantly. His expression changes to positivity and picks something up from the ground."l must finish my roast duck" He begins of munch down the roast duck, much to Zuko's dismay.
I snickered at the Prince's reaction. and walk to him.
"If you want to learn more firebending techniques, I'm the right person to learn from if Iroh is drinking tea or playing Pai Sho." I knew how to firebend before I turned a year old. So I'm basically a natural with firebending.
Zuko replies, "I could but uncle has a lot more experience with firebending."
"You're right. It's not like I'm the most powerful firebender in the world who can easily burn my enemies to ash" I joked.
"I'm going to look for the Avatar with my telescope. You wanna come with?" he asks.
"No I'm going to bed. Besides, I need enough energy so that I can help you with your big hunt." I walk to the door. Before I opened it, I turned my head to Zuko."Good night."
"Good night." he replies
I walk in the hallway and on my right is a door to my room. I opened the door and step in my room.

I climb on my bed and close my eyes. As I'm sleeping, my door opens and a soldier comes in my room. I open my eyes.
"Akira, I would like to info you that Prince Zuko has found the Avatar. He requests that you join him." he informs.
I sit up and sat on the edge of my bed. "Tell him that I'll be there in 5 minutes."
"I will let him know that." he closes the door and I get off the bed so that I can change.
I put on my soldier uniform and armor, tied my hair into a bun, and grab one of my weapons. I head out of my room and mutter, "Looks like we got ourselves a big hunt."
