"It says, we shall fight in Artina's royal tournament and that the prize is your beloved" Dona said as she sat next to nic with her legs up to her breast and her hands wrapped around them.
"my beloved???" nic asked unbothered by the challenge, he didnt think it was necessary to accept, it did not take long for him to realize that it was argus who wrote these words, he would be a mad man to fight that elf again, he was put asleep for four weeks and is still unable to move, he was not one to enjoy being beaten, but he knows when he is out matched.

as nic turned his face to look, he can see trails of tears running down her leg, the sound of her bringing back up mucus can be heard.
nic eyes opened as things started to make sense, even though he was partially unconscious, he remembered hearing Ivry call out to him as he was enveloped in dust.
"but why?" he mumbled to himself looking into the sky of stars.
"he needed someone close to you to make sure you do not run" mion said, his cheeks were swollen from being slapped countless times.
"how long until Artina royal tournament?" nic shift his gaze to mion who was rubbing his cheeks.
"that would be two years from now" he said, he knows alot about other kingdoms, it was required that royalty understand foreign affairs.
"two years?" he was confused, why go through all this trouble of challenging him, he could have went the easy route and killed him, that is what any normal person would have done.
"how long would it take to get there?" nic asked as he kept his gaze on mion, if they had taking him instead he wouldn't have cared and continued on with his life, but Ivry was someone special to him.
"two months by foot at most" mion replied as he take his gaze off of nic and focus at dona who had her head tucked away.
"dont worry aunty, in a year I will force my gift to rank up I will surely be able to defeat him by then" mion said trying to calm down dona, who knows maybe by saving her niece she would return the favor.
"Haha" he burst out laughing to his own thoughts, a trail of saliva leaves his mouth
suddenly a shiver was sent down his spine as he was meet with one eye looking at him by the slightly turned head of dona to his direction, it was as a eagle that just found her prey, she turned back her head to her knees choosing to ignore him for now.

Nic paid mion and dona no attention but chose to ask another question "where are we?" he known rosevolt like the back of his hands, if their is one thing he knows is that rosevolt does not have a forest.
"we left rosevolt two weeks ago, we are at the edge of beastmen territory" mion said as he lay down next to the flames.
