Chapter 47 - A dog cannot be a Lion

Yoon Shik was standing at the pavilion of Eastern Block of the academy. He was feeling bad after he heard Sung Tae calling him a lower born. "Why does he hate me?" Yoon Shik muttered.

"Other people words should not matter you," voiced Cheung Shin and came closer to him. Yoon Shik found that Cheung Shin stopped right beside him. "Master," Yoon Shik looked at Cheung Shin.

"You should not be bothered by other people thoughts. Lower born or upper born isn't in anyone's hand. It is just made by us people," stated Cheung Shin.

"It sometimes hurt. I did every possible thing to reach here but people still see me as a low born not as Yoon Shik, Master Shin." Cheung Shin looked at Yoon Shik and snickered.

"Are you doing all this to get the appreciation of people? Or are you doing this because it is your dream?" Cheung Shin queried Yoon Shik.

"Both," Yoon Shik replied.

Cheung Shin chuckled. "Don't run after appreciation neither run after your dream. Just work for it- effectively and efficiently because one day you those two things will come to you on their own," Cheung Shin gave an advice to Yoon Shik.

Yoon Shik shook his head in agreement. "Thank you, Master Shin for always showing me the path," Yoon Shik stated and turned to leave when Cheung Shin stopped him.

"Yes, Master?"

Cheung Shin turned to meet the gaze of Yoon Shik and then looked around. "No one is here. Now, tell me what do you know?" Cheung Shin asked in a threatening tone.

Yoon Shik blinked his eyes. "What are you saying m-master?" Yoon Shik stuttered and averted his gaze from Cheung Shin when he heard chuckles of Cheung Shin.

Cheung Shin put his both hands on Yoon Shik's shoulders and looked straight into his eyes. "Yoon Shik, you should tell whatever you see that day. I am not someone whom you should take lightly," pronounced Cheung Shin.

Yoon Shik gulped the saliva formed in his throat but he still want to disagree with the fact that he actually knows about Cheung Shin's real identity. "Master, I do not know what are you saying?" Yoon Shik shrugged off his shoulders, keeping the tiny smile on his lips.

"Yoon Shik, I am not someone you should play with. The point from where you start thinking is the point where I over my planned things. I am many steps ahead of you. That day you were there, right? So, what did you see?" Cheung Shin asked again, pressuring Yoon Shik to say the truth.

"I am sorry. Forgive me," Yoon Shik said and lowered his eyes. "I did not want to see and it was just out of curiosity to know who was in that room. Forgive me. I sincerely apologize to you," Yoon Shik stated as he lowered his head too.

Cheung Shin put down his hands and then closed his eyes. "You did not see.."

"No," immediately Yoon Shik replied, cutting the words of Cheung Shin in the middle. "I did not see anything except…except your back with long hair. I immediately shut my eyes. Please forgive me," Yoon Shik said, looking at Cheung Shin.

"Okay. Don't tell anyone. If you then be ready to be thrown out of this academy. Trust me, for me it's just matter of seconds to throw you outside this academy but because you have your ambitions I am giving you a chance. My eyes will always be on you. Understood?" Cheung Shin asked for the confirmation.

"Do not worry, Master. I will not. Forgive me for that day again," Yoon Shik stated. Cheung Shin gave a nod and stepped forward to leave when Yoon Shik said, "You should be careful. It could be dangerous for you." Yoon Shik expressed his concern.

"Don't worry. I will. Just don't open your mouth in front of anyone," Cheung Shin told Yoon Shik before leaving from the pavilion.

Park Do Yeong was reading a book in the library when a servant came to him. Bowing his head before Do Yeong, the servant spoke, "Master, sorry for the intrusion. Master Yeol is here to meet you."

Do Yeong stopped reading the book. Frowns appeared on his forehead. He closed his book and then looked at the servant. "Where is he?" Do Yeong asked.

"In the Waiting Hall," replied the servant. Do Yeong told the servant to leave and then went to the Waiting Hall. As he entered there, he saw his brother was drinking the tea. Seeing Do Yeong, Park Sil Yeol stood up from the stool and went to him.

"Yeong-aa, it is good to see you after such a long time," saying this Sil Yeol embraced Yeong who found it suspicious.

Pulling away Sil Yeol told Do Yeong to take a seat. A servant came there and served Yeong a herbal tea. "Don't you want to know why I am here?" Park Sil Yeol questioned Yeong.

Yeong had carried a displeased look towards his brother. "How would I know why Hyung-nim is here?" Do Yeong stated and sipped the tea from porcelain cup.

Park Sil Yeol gave a faint smile as he looked at Do Yeong. "Abeoji has gone out of the city for a few days. He could not come here so, told me to pass this message to you – Do not threaten upper-class men just to save a low born," asserted Park Sil Yeol.

Do Yeong flinched his brows as he realized someone had informed about yesterday's incident to his father. Park Sil Yeol was noticing the expressions of Do Yeong and spoke with a smirk, "It seems you are quite close to Yoon Shik. Using abeoji's name just to save him. I am wondering why did a brainy person like you involving himself with that low born person."

"Hyung-nim, they were saying things which no one should say for a person. That's why I intervened. I will keep this in mind and will never use abeoji's name ever again," Do Yeong assured his brother.

"You do not need to intervene in a matter of low born or any other person who will not be going to benefit you in any way," suggested Park Sil Yeol as he poured tea in the cup.

"He is not a low born. He has got a name so, you must use that Hyung-nim," opined Do Yeong, keeping the smile on his lips. Park Sil Yeol smiled upon hearing that.

"… 'A dog cannot be a Lion'. The forest is ruled by a Lion only. Same goes for Yoon Shik. If he thinks he can be like us then tell him not to think of that level. He will be suppressed by us. Just because he cracked an exam, it does not mean he can be like us," Park Sil Yeol proclaimed. Do Yeong stood up his seat and left from there.

"Just because of Abeoji I talk politely to you else I would have shown you your place," Park Sil Yeol murmured as he saw Do Yeong going away.
