Sung Tae brought Hani to a place safer far from the rest house in an abandoned house in the market. He put Hani on the ground and tried waking her up. "Hani, wake up!!" Sung Tae lightly patted on her cheek. He was panicking because evening was going to fall and if she would not wake up before evening it might create a problem for both of them.
"Shall I bring some water for her?" Sung Tae mumbled and stood up from the floor. He walked out from there. His knees were paining and was not walking properly which grabbed unwanted attention from the people. He went to a stall and asked for water from the owner.
Seeing an upper-class-men asking water from him, the man first hesitated but then gave the water in a porcelain cup to Sung Tae. "I will give you back this in a while," Sung Tae replied and walked away from there.
He came inside the house and got on his knees. He sprinkled water drops on Hani's face who knitted her brows. Sung Tae was relieved to see that Hani had finally woken up. He put the cup on the floor and again patted on Hani's cheeks. "You finally woke up," Sung Tae took a breath of relief and sat on the ground.
"W-what am I doing here?" Hani asked and put her hand on her head. "I-I was in the tea house…" she paused as she was feeling weak.
"Who told you to tell story in the tea house? Because of you I got into such a big trouble?" Sung Tae suddenly started shouting at Hani.
"Why are you shouting at me? What am I doing here? Wait, did you all plan this?" Hani yanked back at Sung Tae who got furious.
"That Kisaeng planned all this with those three men. Don't you have a brain? You should have refused when she told you to tell story to the men," Sung Tae asserted and stretched his legs out. "I have never done such a foolish thing in my life," Sung Tae murmured.
"What kind of planning? Explain," Hani demanded an answer.
"I will explain that later. First go to your home and do not tell Yoon Shik about anything," Sung Tae told Hani who drew her brows together.
"You want me to lie to Orabani? I will tell him how some of his friends from the academy mixed something in my tea and then I ended up with you," Hani proclaimed.
"You lie to him always so why can't you lie now? Just don't tell him. It is getting late and I have to reach academy soon. I will meet you tomorrow at this place and then tell you the entire incident." Sung Tae waited for Hani's response.
"Just tell me what did they do? I mean briefly," Hani requested.
"Something which could have tarnished your image and could have thrown Yoon Shik out of the academy. Now, go home. And do not share about this to anyone. It shall remain between us. Yoon Shik and I are not in good terms so, it's better to hide this thing. Nothing happened to you as I saved you," Sung Tae stated and continued, "Do not ever trust anyone. Telling a story to people especially men in a room is not a good thing. Yoon Shik has many enemies who does not want him to rise."
Hani nodded but she was still skeptical. "Since when you turned so thoughtful. I remember the day when you told us lower class. Then, why?" Hani questioned him.
"Go now. I do not have much time," Sung Tae told Hani who stood up and left from there. Sung Tae picked the cup and after sometime left the house. He looked around and then went to the shopkeeper to give him the cup. "Thank you," he said and walked ahead.
He went to a horse cart in which he decided to go back to the academy. As he was getting into the cart, his name was called out by Do Yeong. He turned and saw Yoon Shik and Sunwo were with them.
Beads of sweats formed on his forehead. "Where were you?" Do Yeong asked. Before Sung Tae could answer, Yoon Shik grabbed his robes. "Where did you take Hani? What did you plan with your friends?" Yoon Shik shouted at Sung Tae.
"Yoon Shik, calm down!" Sunwo said as he pulled him back.
"What are you saying?" Sung Tae pretended as if he did not know.
"Sung Tae, do you take me as a fool? I know you and your friends invited Hani to the tea house. Where is she?" Yoon Shik was outraged.
"I did not invite her. Why would I? Those Kisaengs had told her and I was there by chance. And why are you shouting at me? Lower your voice!" Sung Tae snapped at Yoon Shik. The people around them were looking at them. Do Yeong told the two to calm down.
"Orabani," Hani called out Yoon Shik. He immediately turned and saw Hani there, smiling at him. Do Yeong and Sunwo were happy to see Hani safe. Yoon Shik ran towards Hani and hugged her tightly. "Where were you? I was scared," Yoon Shik said and pulled back.
"Orabani, forgive me to worry you out. How are you? I miss you. Appa also misses you," Hani proclaimed. Yoon Shik cupped Hani's face and checked her if she was fine. "Orabani, I am doing well." Yoon Shik pulled his hands back.
"Why did you go to the Tea House? I told you not to go there, then why you did not listen to me? I told you not to do this again then why you lied to me and go there?" Yoon Shik was angry at Hani who lowered her eyes.
"Forgive me, Orabani. Some sisters from Kisaeng House love my stories so she told me to tell the story to a few upper-class men whom they serve. I could not refuse them as they might get punish for refusing their orders. But, Orabani, I am fine. I told the story and left from there. If you do not believe me you can ask him," Hani affirmed and pointed her index finger towards Sung Tae.
Yoon Shik turned and looked at Sung Tae. "She is saying right. But I am not related those Kisaengs. I was told to attend that by Chan Sul and others. If I knew your sister does this job, I would not have even gone there.," Sung Tae asserted and looked at Hani.
"Hani, why did you listen to Kisaengs? Do you know how much worried your brother was?!" Do Yeong questioned her. "Do not listen to them ever. You should not sympathize with them easily. What if the men were not Sung Tae and others? You might have gotten into big problem," Do Yeong made Hani understand.
"Forgive me troubling you all," Hani said and then looked at Yoon Shik. "Orabani, I will never trouble you again. I am happy that I got to see you. When will you come to home?" Hani asked Yoon Shik.
"After two weeks. Do not worry about me. Sungkyunkwan is a nice place. Now, go home and never ever lie to me. I will get late if I send you home," Yoon Shik told Hani. Sunwo offered help and told Yoon Shik that he would send him in a horse cart.
"Do not trouble yourself, Orabani. I will go home," Hani said and looked at Yoon Shik. "I am going home. Take care of yourself," Hani told Yoon Shik and walked away. Yoon Shik looked at Hani till she disappeared from his sight.
Do Yeong put his hand on Yoon Shik's shoulder. "Let's go. It is almost evening. Hani is fine and has gone home," Do Yeong told Yoon Shik who hummed at him.
