"Mrs. Emerson, could you follow the nurse and let her draw some blood from you?" The doctor asked.
"Cedric, come with me," Eleanor called Cedric.
"Mrs. Emerson, I need to talk to your husband about your health and care. Please cooperate," she said with a smile.
"No no no… I want him," Eleanor said.
"Doctor, it's fine. She is scared of needles," Cedric said. The doctor nodded her head at him. Cedric accompanied Eleanor to draw her blood.
"Mrs. Emerson, please stretch your hand," the nurse said as she made Eleanor sit on the chair.
Eleanor looked at Cedric as if saying she doesn't want them to draw blood. "For the sake of the baby," he said. She pouted.
"It would be like an ant price," he said.
"Don't you want to attend Valene's engagement?" He asked.
"Yes!" She said as she got diverted into a different topic.
He motioned the nurse to start the process.
