"Honestly Aiden I'm not going to lie I have thought of you as more than a friend and well I may have had dreams leading up to my feelings for you.....," I get up and walk in the other direction. "When I was 13, that's when I first thought of you as more than a friend."
"Well I-" He started to say before I cut him off.
"Wait, before you speak let me talk. After 13, I felt more intense feelings for you at 15 more..... how do I say this? Sexual feelings, but I never said anything." I say now walking in circles letting it all flow out of my mouth.
"Now at the age of 17 I feel like we could have more, be more. But what happens if we date and dont agree on things, and end up ending things I dont want to loose you." I said now looking him dead in the eyes.
"Haley, you would never loose me," Aiden says in a sad but suggestive tone "You have been there for me for as long as I can remember, why would we walk away now?"
"But Aiden," I say and I didn't want to have to say this next part but I have to so he knows.... "I like Jayden right now and I know you dont want to hear this but I have to tell you because I feel like he maybe likes me to. I dont want to hurt you but I want to see where it goes with the both of you."
"I'm sorry Haley but this does hurt me, I've had feelings for you for a while now but you dont seem to pay it any mind!" While saying this he had gotten up and started grabbing his things "If you need me you know where to find me, but for the time being why dont you go 'hang out' with Jayden!"
He was angry and I knew it, 'Me and Aiden never fight!' I thought to myself and know I didn't know what to do but sit down and watch my by pass movie 'Pride and Prejudice'.
------1 week later------

This was the 37th time I heard this, I kept trying to call Aiden but he wasn't having it so now I have decided imma go to his house and have a word with him!
Putting on a pair of leggings and one of Aiden's to big shirts that seen to fit him snug, I also put my hair in a messy bun.
Running down stairs I yell for my Mom and Dad "Hey Mom, Dad! I'm going to go Nextdoor to Aiden's house okay?"
"Okay hun, dont forget where going out with Hunt's tonight so dont stay long because you'll have to be ready for that." My dad says coming from the corner with his coffee in one hand and a Cliff bar in the other.
Tossing me the Cliff bar he said, "Kiddo you have to eat, I know you are in a rush but you gotta eat." Why does he know me so well..... Damn!
"Okay well im out, see you in a little bit." I say spinning towards the door on my heel.
Walking out the door my dad yells, "Love you, dont stay to long!" When I hear this I wave my hand behind my head.
the walk that is usually less than a minute feels like one hour and to be honest this gives me an uneasy feeling in my stomach. When I get to the door I knock and hear footsteps coming my way.
"Haley what are you doing here?" Aiden asked me surprised.
Without answering him I instantly jump into his arms, it almost felt like the best spot in the world. The way our bodies just felt perfect in that moment I dont know why this hug felt so different but it did.
Pulling back and looking in his eyes I know he felt it to, "Haley I missed you so much." and I fall back into him and put my head on his chest.
"I missed you too!" I say letting the tears fall down my face.
"Haley..." I look up at him and my eyes saying I love you.
"Yes?" I ask as my grip on him gets harder.
"I.... I- what are you wherein to dinner tonight?" Hearing this made me loose my tight grip on him.
"Oh umm.... I dont know yet I was hoping you could come help me figure that out." I knew he would he love telling me what to wear he always used to tell me 'I tell you what to wear because I want you to look good for me, but anything you wear makes you look hot.' I smile at the memory.
"Yeah sure, I would love that." He said happily.
Walking back to my house I see Jayden and I know the shits about to hit the fan.
"Hey Haley how are you, I haven't seen you in a while," He said giving me a hug that I didn't want, while he did this I kept my arms limp. "And Aiden...."
"Jayden." Aiden said without looking at Jay.
'Fuck this is going to be bad' That was all I could think in the moment.
"Okay Aiden lets go, I need to be ready by five." I started grabbing his hands and when I did he walked with me until....
Jayden said something that I couldn't quite make out, but apparently Aiden heard him because out of no where he had Jay by the shirt and he was so angry that the veins where popping out of his neck.
"If I ever hear you call her that again I'll gut you like fish!" With Aiden's fists balled up I thought he was going to hit him but then he looked over at me and just shoved Jayden aside causing him to stumble a little.
And just like that we where off to my house hand in hand, doing this I hoped he wouldn't turn around and actually punch Jay.
