"You need to leave, it's dawn Aris."
A scowl crossed Lumielle's younger brother's face. He was disgruntled as she flipped through her book. She had managed to eat half of the pastries that Aristele had brought and was drinking some water as the sun peaked through the trees.
"Just ten more minutes."
"Aris," she warned, her voice becoming sharper as he groaned, bothered by her words, "It won't be very long. Just bare with it for a bit." He stood up from her bed, untangling himself from the sheets and ruffling his hair. He leaned over to kiss Lumielle's forehead before opening the balcony doors and jumping to his room.
