"You do know that Evangeline will be quite upset," Leo chided.
Lumielle turned around to face him, "Leo, you the most capable knight in all of Endora. If you can't protect me no one can."
It was a true assessment as Leo shook his head, he looked slightly amused. His amber eyes glinted in the light slightly as did the tassel that hung from his sword. It had become a symbol of affection despite her attempts at trying to keep it platonic. The blue and pink tassel looked pretty—Lumielle chuckled.
"I'm sure that you've heard that Lady Yennafer is becoming my Lady in Waiting," she said walking down the cobblestone path. She had kept her hair up in a high bun for the heat was blistering. She had forgotten her parasol as she walked down the sunny street. Most ladies had them but due to Lumielle reviewing some numbers for her cafe, she had been rushing to pick up the sword.
Despite the fact that she was fighting with Aristele, she still needed to see it.
