I have been sitting here for about an hour now.
You're probably wondering what I am talking about, right? Well, I am sitting directly outside of the surgery room in which the man, I attempeted to save, is in. During this whole time all I have been doing is crying my eyes out. I felt so bad and scared. I was scared that the guy would'nt make it and what his family would think of me if he did, you know, die.
Would they think I killed him on purpose? Would they be thankful that I tried to save him? Or does he even have any family..... I sat there shaking as it was so cold. I didn't have time to change my colthes nor did I have any to change into. My body was cold and wet and tired.
Suddenly the two double, light brown doors at the end of the hall, burst open. A woman and a man who seemed worried and rushed came galloping in. "Oh my baby, where is he?" She mourned while the male beside her pulled her into a hug while stroking her hair lovinigly, in attempt to calm her down. "Please be okay, my son." The male wispered into her ear quietly which reassured the female as she now was taking deep breaths in. I guessed that they were the guys parents.
The couple seemed quite wealthy. As I studied them, I noticed all their clothes were branded with high end logos. The woman had her nails, hair and make up perfectly done. Execpt for the streak of her black mascara and eyeliner running down her face due to her worried mourn for her son.
A few more stressful minutes dragged along until the doctor slowly emerged from surgery. I stood up slowly but couldn't get my self to walk towards the doctor. He, dramatically, took a big breath in before informing us.
"He is going to be okay. He's a lucky person if it wasn't for her smart and fast thinking and actions he would be well gone by now. Thanks to you we could drain his lungs saftly. If you didn't perform CPR at the time you did, your son would have drown. Well done!" The doctor praised, frequently switching his gaze from me and the couple who rejoced in complete happiness and joy. Once they were finished their celebrations they turned to me.
"Thank you, miss. I don't know what we do without our presious son and now, because of you, he's alive. Thank you, from the bottom of our heart, we really can't thank you enough." The woman blessed me while trying not to cry in the middle. "Really ma'am, sir, I-it's no probl-lem. I'm just happy that he is okay. I don't know what I would have done if something bad acually happened." I explained still sobbing. Although, I felt light headed and sick while I was talking so I excused myself to the bathroom.
Since I didn't know where the bathrooms were, I had to wander the halls until I met a doctor or a nurse. This is exactly what I did and i did it for about 15 minuets straight, until I met a nurse who was sitting on chair while playing with her phone. "Sorry, Ma'am. Do you know where the female bathrooms are?" I asked meekly. "Sure hun, there just at the end of thr hall and to the right." She said while pointing to the left and gestuing her hand back. "Thanks" I bidded to her before following her directions.
Finally I found the bathrooms. Rushing in, I sprinter to the nearest cubicle and locked the door. Insantly, I threw up into the toilet. When I looked into the toilet my eyes widened.
I threw up ...BLOOD!
