"But I still wore it," came Raelle's voice.
Both of them looked over and found Raelle standing at the door for who knew how long.
Grandfather Xiang beckoned her over and Raelle went to his side. She sat down on the carpet and put her head on Grandfather Xiang's knees. Grandfather Xiang put his hand on her head lovingly and said, "Yes, my Yenay did wear that princess dress even though she didn't want to. All because she thought it'd make her Yanyan happy."
"I'm just such a sensible person," said Raelle.
Grandfather Xiang laughed at her response, "Of course, you are! And she did a lot more just to make me and her Yanyan happy. So, don't think my Yenay is spoiled and pampered. She is anything but unreasonable. She always knew how to not hurt my feelings. She was always a caring little cotton-padded jacket of mine who brought me warmth."
Raelle looked up and asked, "I did bring you warmth, Opa?"
"Yes."
"But everyone says I'm cold."
