WHEN WE ARRIVED IN FRONT OF THE CARRIAGE, dad held my hand. "I put a thin layer of my electric magic around you so it would mess your appearance up, Tasha," oh? "And you, young man, how could do that out of nowhere? If I hadn't acted fast, your sister's hair would have been all messed up!"
Val mumbled something, "Sorry, Nat. It's just that," I didn't even let him finish.
"It's alright. I get it. Besides, thanks to dad nothing happened. Just don't do it again, or I'll kick your ass, okay?" I said calmly and he gasped.
"I won't. Sorry!"
"Hm," dad muttered.
We entered the carriage and Val was hitting his feet on the floor without stopping, clearly anxious. Dad told the Knight who was driving the carriage to go and then we started moving. But Val didn't stop his feet.
"Hey," I put a hand on his leg to calm him down. "Take a deep breath." He did it. "Why are you so anxious today?"
