I HAD SENSED IT BEFORE, BUT I CHOSE TO turn a blind eye and ignore it. Not to mention that I didn't have the time to approach her before, in a moment she was unconscious so I could talk to him. And I'm sure he knew I noticed him because he let me see him and even grinned at me.
But seeing how neither she nor Valerian reacted to it, I realized he did that without them knowing. We know each from decades ago, after all, there was no way I wouldn't recognize his aura. Especially when back there, bonding with him was all I ever wanted, and now he's with my daughter of all people.
How ironic is that?
