Ritual house, Hubyei District
"If you're out there, show yourself!" Jon cried out before a figure appeared before him.
The figure was monstrous. He confirmed it was a human since it looked a lot like Alek. As soon as the clouds couldn't obscure the view of the giant Alek, he thought to himself. 'I'm for sure in trouble,'
"Oh look, it's the black sheep," Alek laughed. "Maybe I should teach you a lesson right here, right now,"
"Maybe you should work on that black sheep joke from before," Jydo taunted. "For a bully that's very cringing if you ask me."
"Alright kid," he winced before he generated a new boulder, levitating from his palm and fired it towards his opponent. The plan failed once Alek the giant realized the floor was an elastic film.
Jydo used this to his advantage and lingered for the boulder to crash. Mere moments before it did, he bounced through the elastic floor and launched into the pink clouds. Meanwhile, the boulder followed behind but totally missed Jydo by a longshot bouncing onwards until Alek thought smarter.
By touching the elastic film, the floor began turning into rock. Jon paused in the air and came back down as fast as an eagle. When the clouds ran thin, he caught a gaze at the rock-forming floor. He positioned himself just so his feet pointed flat on the floor with loose knees. He bounced off the remaining elasticity of the floor, and with a backflip, he landed softly on the hard rock floor. Alek couldn't bear his laughter.
"Seem's like you know more than I expected," he snarly spoke. "You've trained well,"
"What if I had an ability right about now?" Jydo grinned and prepared for whatever Alek was to launch at him.
"Yeah right, it's never gonna happen!" the Giant Alek roared and with his two hands generated more boulders.
They would miss Jydo by inches but this time he extended his arms down to the ground; his powers traversed to the rocky ground near Jydo, and he lifted the ground beneath Jydo.
Jydo jumped off the rock and while looking back at the large boulder behind him, he ducked to the side, avoiding a dreadful crash. However, he was to remain restless while Alek generated shards of rock and shot them towards Jydo.
Jydo dodged as many shards as he could but one lucky shard scratched his left shoulder and got him off track; eventually smacking the ground. A pause took place right after.
"You have speed, but I have strength in numbers," Alek said as he generated an enormous slab of rock and launched it towards Jydo.
Judo quickly stood up and dodged the slab of rock with such an elegant backflip that his nose almost kissed the edge of it. However, Alek was smart and generated more slabs.
Jon lost track again and again before one slab smacked him right on the face. He descended to the ground with a huge fall and struggled to get up once more. Meanwhile, in the real world, a servant called onto the doctor overseeing Jydo.
"Doctor, his vitals are dropping!" she quickly reported as his body inched towards fatigue. Back in the astral plane, Alek the Giant was ready to kill him.
"It was good having fun with you, kid. Now—its time for you to go back," Alek grunted before he generated more boulders, preying for the right time Jydo awoke.
Jydo stood up within moments and watched as the enormous boulder was about to strike him down. Extending his arms, he planned to stop the boulder in its tracks but surely he thought it was a bad idea. However, his soul couldn't take one more beating.
As the boulder was within inches of striking, the palms of Jydo's hands lit up with fire and blasted a wave of heat towards the incoming boulder, shredding it to pieces.
Jydo opened his eyes to find himself still alive and fire surrounding his arms. At first, he thought, 'oh my god, I'm on fire!' But quickly realized he'd found his long-awaited ability.
"Oh, this—is cool!" he grinned before the flames surrounded his fists, ready to attack. Alek never saw this coming. He'd never expect Jydo to even stop his boulder attacks.
"Let's take it for what it is, kid. You're still dead!" Alek ran up to Jydo and launched new shards of rock. The multiple shards screeched towards Jydo, but with his new ability, he used his palms to blast a wave of heat immediately incinerating the shards into nothing.
Jydo would then counter, and after deflecting more shards and rocks he got a clearing of space. Through that space, he used his last energy and effort to blast a huge heatwave straight towards Alek. Alek countered and created a barrier to block the fire. However, it failed once more, but with one more barrier, he couldn't contain it any longer. With no barrier to contain all the incoming fire, Alek stood overwhelmed, and the blast sent him flying towards oblivion.
Jydo looked at his hands and watched the flames surrounding his hands die back down. A surge of adrenaline was surprising to him, even in his astral form. He still felt his body going through the rush.
"Doctor, we've found a promising activity!" the servant described while she did her best to interpret the data she was receiving.
"What does he have?" the doctor surveyed.
"Based on his data, he'll probably receive a gift based on temperature or the adaptivity to it," she explained. "Either that or nothing,"
"Nothing?" Haka coughed. "What are you talking about?"
"Worst-case scenario, my Lord!" The doctor spoke before she went near Jydo's body to survey him.
"Yeah, it better be a joke," Haka almost laughed, but the anger took over instantly.
Inside the astral plane, Jon used his new abilities to blast off from the elastic, now rocky floor, through the thick pinky clouds. It was a dream come true, and even his body felt every moment. He landed back to the same spot he appeared from and gazed back at the world in front of him. All his own, with his own fantasies and dreams. It was very fun to see.
A portal in the entrance sensed his presence and magically appeared. He entered through it, returning to limbo and finally his real-life body.
"Hey there," the doctor greeted Jydo back into the world.
"Woah," he sighed. "I've never been there!"
"I saw," he tried his best to remember. "Oh—the world was pink and everything was, I fell to a hole of clouds, fought this monster but I can't remember which one it was,"
"Is it the ones from the outside?" Haka asked.
"No, it was more of a giant, but I just can't remember," Jydo further explained.
"Then it means, you've conquered your first fears," the doctor smiled. "But how?"
"With this," Jydo pumped his fist accordingly and with concentration, he thought about the flames he witnessed. However, they stalled. "Um, takes quite a minute here."
"Take your time," the doctor smiled before he gazed at the servant and secretly shook her head. Haka in his concerns noticed and questioned the doctor.
"What's going on here?"
"My lord, I don't think your son is gifted!"
"What?" he coughed. "We've seen the data. How does he suddenly have no abilities? We have the best genes, this cannot be possible!"
"His vision was flawed," the doctor explained before she touched Jydo's forehead and he passed out unconscious. "I'm sorry, my lord, we have to do this."
"No, wake him up!" Haka's anger overtook his presence. His hair lit up with blue flames and his fists ignited in the same manner.
"Alright, time's up!" she kicked Haka out the door and into the hallway where the door would eventually shut.
"No! Give me my son back," he cried out. With his abilities, his entire body ignited with flames and powered up the fire in his fists. He then used all of his strength and shot a blast towards the door. Sadly, it wouldn't amount to anything and the ritual house security came in to stop the chaos. The security came carbon extinguishers and quenched his fire completely; covering him with shards of carbon dioxide.
"Jydo!" he cried out several times before the guards took him away. Meanwhile, the doctors got busy with Jydo.
"Schedule a move to the underground," the doctor ordered.
"Affirmative," the servant acknowledged and sent Jydo's unconscious body down the levels of the ritual house and into an underground elevator.

"Hey, what do you have for me today?" the underground overseer surveyed the new and empty boxes that harboured the youth who the ritual house rejected before.
"Waste. No need to sign. We'll accept the money this afternoon!" a servant spoke.
