Chapter 216 - CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN

Something's definitely fishy with all this sneaking around and I believe something's up.

Why would mom who kept her distance since her son's outburst this morning, suddenly send Gwen to help me shower and try a dress she claims to be working on to put out as part of her, maternity line?

Trying it on is one thing but getting me to use makeup is another, because she wanted me to be dressed, at a specific time. That's questionable on my part, because of all the chaos that erupted this morning between Logan and I.

Refusing the makeup and styling of my hair, I only tried the dark toned, multi colored, crinkle cotton mini dress that, had a square outlook, until it fell lightly, over my body.

Again, it's a armless piece, with a deep V-line to the front and back, exposing about an inch of each breast from the inside, giving me a sexy appeal, despite my protruding bump.

Mom then insisted, on some photos, which I finally caved in to but refuse the heavy makeup.

Deciding only, on a light pink lipgloss, blue mascara and blue eyeliner, leaving my face with a freshly washed appearance.

Normally, mom would have given me advanced notice about modelling a wear but to spring it on me after three in the afternoon, that she wants me ready by five-thirty, definitely smells.

I used the nursery to model the dress, displaying the furnish room, since photos around the Castle could be easily identified, should the families be looking for us.

I called Jer, who was only aware of the shoot around the same time as I was but we decided to go along with mom and use the nursery for the photo shoot.

Jer took only twelve shots of, this single outfit, before calling it done because like me, he wasn't in the mood.

Wearing the dress, I snuggle against my pillow, scrolling through the surveillance cameras and BINGO!

Out in the garden, one single round table with two chairs, had been set, with colored lights hanging low from the taller trees around, giving it a romantic aura!

He must have found out the truth, otherwise I would have been left repenting for my sins, for a few more days!

I sent Gwen a message on Skype and ask for a sandwich to be brought up with tea because I'm suddenly starving. Even though Gwen was hesitant, who could resist a hungry, pregnant woman.

After my early dinner, I freshened myself, hoping to avoid Logan and destroy his plans by having an early night, just as he destroy my peaceful day!

I fell asleep daydreaming about my baby and packing everything in the nursery but suddenly the chuckling, dark haired baby's face evaporated and I ended up clutching a faceless baby!

Jolting upright, with beads of perspiration dripping down the side of my head.

What was that?

It's still dark outside and Logan was sound asleep beside me, with his covers thrown off, I can see with the floodlights on the outside, that he's fully dressed.

Slipping lightly, off the bed, I used the bathroom and freshened up before taking my laptop and exiting the room, without waking him up, using the elevator and leaving the chair behind.

As usual, there's always someone in the kitchen and it was Justin and Mrs. Stanley!

Justin looked up sleepily when I walked in, while Mrs. Stanley seem taken aback at my presence at this hour.

Smiling brightly, "morning," I greeted them, shifting the strap of my laptop bag.

Her eyes automatically lifted to the clock on the wall, "Jamie, it's only four thirty," Mrs. Stanley exclaimed softly and I nod, fully aware of the time.

Smiling politely, "I know but I had a weird dream and I felt hungry," flushing in embarrassment.

Nodding lightly, "well if you hadn't gone off to sleep so early, you may not have had bad dreams and you could have slept late," Justin informed me mockingly, with a side smirk.

Slapping his hand across the table, "oh stop it you," she reprimanded Justin for his comment and smile, whilst pushing her chair, "I'll make you a pot of tea and a sandwich." Coming around the table to where I stood, "let's go to the sitting room first," she offers but I shook my head, staring directly at Justin.

"No, he can take me" I suggested, "while you prepare something," I added keeping my eyes on Justin's tired, rugged face, smiling as his smirk disappears leaving him with an annoyed expression.

Opening his mouth ready to object, Mrs. Stanley, tapped the table lightly which instantly shuts him up.

Giggling, as he stood glaring at me but out of respect for Mrs. Stanley, he obediently lead the way to the sitting, gesturing in front of him.

"Princess Leah, please follow me," he mocks, with his gesture and tone but I'm going to have fun with my husband's best friend, who seems to be dealing with a hangover.

Instructing him to set the laptop and charger in place, I relaxed against the daybed, sighing while stretching my feet.

Instead of leaving, Justin dropped his ass on the recliner, pushing it backwards, he takes in a deep breath, before closing his eyes.

Humming loudly, I stared at Justin's eyes, smiling as it flutters and the three deep lines visible on his forehead.

"You're determined to annoy me aren't you?" I chuckle at the words he mummers softly.

Shrugging even though he can't see me. "You and my husband had a late night on the town, huh?" I smiled but suddenly wondered if they went out, after having spent more than half day out.

Without opening his eyes, "you're f**king kidding right now, aren't you?" Justin mummer softly. "Just remember, it's your husband who behaved like jackass yesterday and," lifting his head, he opened his eyes and smiled mischievously, "you showed him whose the boss, by standing him up." Winking, he laid back, "smooth".
