Chapter 212 - Chapter Two Hundred and Eleven

Nodding his head back and forth lightly, with a lopsided smile, Logan stares at me.

He doesn't believe me?

Unwilling to have a staring competition with him, I turned away and pulled the blanket upwards, changing my mind about using the bathroom, until he leaves.

"Aren't you getting up?" Logan strolls towards me but I refuse to make eye contact with him.

"Nope," I answered, shaking my head. "I'm still sleepy," I lied wishing he would just dress and leave.

Instead of going to the dressing room as I hoped, Logan sat on the bed with his damp towel, throwing the one he was wiping his hair with on the floor.

"Logan, your towel is wet," I glared at him, reaching out and slapping his exposed stomach. "You'll get the bed sheets wet," I whined.

Instead of getting off the bed, Logan slid the towel off his hip and threw it on the floor to sit naked on the bed.

"LOGAN!" I screamed in embarrassment and looked away.

I felt Logan reach out to gently pull me towards me, "I am your husband, right?" He whispers against my ear.

Closing my eyes, I nod quickly as I blush at our intimacy.

"Good to know I can still make you blush," he chuckles at my shyness and lean down and crashed his lips on mines, catching me off guard.

Feeling myself getting all hot and bothered, I push him away but he won't budge.

"You want to sleep or get up?" Logan whispers against my lips.

Opening my eyes, I felt myself blushing at the sight of his deep blues.

"I need to use the bathroom," I whispered, feeling a strong urge to pee. "Your baby's sleeping on my bladder." I added when he won't move.

Logan's eyes widen in surprise at my words and he quickly move and helped me off the bed to stand in front of me exposing his perfectly toned body.

Escorting me to the bathroom, "don't lock the door," he reminded me and turned away.

Remembering the dirty towels he threw on the floor, "pick up the towels!" I shout out as I hobble towards the bathroom sink to start my morning routine.

Thankfully some of the towels are large enough to wrap around my huge frame, I exit the bathroom, my eyes automatically fixating on the floor where Logan threw his towels earlier and I smiled when I realized he obeyed me.

"I already took out a T-shirt and shorts of you," Logan informed me from the corner of the bedroom, where he sat on a sofa, staring at me, his unreadable expression, intimidating me.

Have he found out about my call to Judge Delany?

Nodding nervously, I look away from him and to the bed where he laid out my clothes for me.

"Thank you," I mumbled softly.

Logan didn't move but remain seated and from the corner of my eye, I could see him staring at me but his gaze wasn't sensual.

Under his watchful eyes, I took longer than I normally would to put on three pieces of clothing because Logan's made me uncomfortable, or was it my guilt that made me uncomfortable?

Darn you Logan, I kept repeating as a mantra in my head, because he sees that I am struggling but just sits there and looks on.

Taking a deep breath, I finally buttoned my shorts, which is shorter than the T-shirt today.

A clear sign that I am getting fatter.

I moved towards the vanity and passed a brush quickly through my hair, leaving it to hang loose and pulling on the hair tie as a wristband.

With a bright smile I turned to Logan, "I'm done," I informed him in excitement but Logan didn't move.

As I stare at him, my smile slowly disappears, "I'm hungry," I whispered softly, fully aware that Logan is definitely upset with me for sure.

Standing up he walks towards me with a purposeful stride, "Mrs. Stanley will be sending breakfast up for you," he says as he walks past me and out the door without another word.

He knows about my request to Social Services to take Jess out of Clyde Daniels possession and he's upset? Why?

If I had ask him to go and get her, he could have gotten hurt.

I didn't do anything wrong, I kept telling myself, no longer hungry or thirsty.

There was a slight knock on the door and since I'm not hungry and I didn't order breakfast I didn't answer and ignored the knocking that was growing extremely annoying.

I spun around the room slowly, searching for my phone but it's nowhere in sight.

I left it on the sofa so Logan must have taken it and seen the call I made to the Judge last night.

I walked into the dressing room to retrieve my laptop when I heard a loud crash and quickly hobble outside to see Logan fuming with rage, and the door flung wide open.

He must be taking his anger out on the door because he can't take it out on me.

Lifting my chin, I met his angry glare with a calmness I didn't feel.

"Didn't you hear someone at the door with your breakfast?" Logan yelled harshly.

Frowning wondering why he's this angry and what did I do that brought this on?

"I didn't order breakfast," I retorted calmly, watching mom hustling into the room, her eyes wide with fear.

Mom ignored me and walked towards Logan and tugged at his arm, "Logan come downstairs with me and relax at bit." Mom tugs at his arm as she tries to get him out of the room.

Pulling his arm roughly out of his mother's grasp, Logan turned on his heel and exited the room angrily.

Mom stared at his retreating back, then turns to look at me, "Gwen will return with breakfast," she informs me softly before leaving the room.

Am I under house arrest?

Darn you Logan!
