Chapter 204 - CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND THREE

Logan and I became overnight sensations on Social Media, although I kept telling everyone, it's him who has all the girls swooning over the ad and he's the one getting all the media attention.

Scrolling online, reading comments under legit news networks about the newest sensation to hit the fashion world, through Francis Fashions.

Gasping when quite a few folks comments led me to believe they don't believe I was actually pregnant, contradicting others who claimed, that I actually was because I looked fat.

OMG! Some comments go so far as saying that we are definitely not a couple because a sexy hunk like the male model would never actually go for a plain Jane, like me.

This is the reason I am not on any social media site! These comments are outrageous but I'm suddenly concern about Jess and if she saw it.

What would be her thoughts and reactions?

Only one way to find out and that's through Jer's phone which of course is going to be weird since he didn't know I went snooping on his page a couple days ago.

Still a girls gotta to try!

Opening Skype, I sent a quick message to Gwen, requesting Jer pay me a visit, so now I can only wait.

My inferior complex started moving on high gear as I pondered about Logan and I and how unsuited people claim, I am for him.

Opening my laptop again to visit Francis Fashion page and the photos of Logan a I, where I modeled mom's designs.

Instead of Logan, I stared at myself this time.

I tired to see the fat, plain Jane some viewers describe me as.

The wide gray eyed, brunette girl, staring back at me wasn't familiar at all.

She appeared shy, her smiles teasing, never looking directly at the camera and with a thoughtful expression.

Comparing them to the photos I took with Logan, I see a blushing girl, whose pregnant husband cradles her baby bump with a soft caring smile and this was taken when Logan and I were at odds with each other.

The light makeup I wore emphasized my eyes and lips with a natural flush to my cheeks, due to the warm afternoon sun.

Curling my lips with a frown, personally I don't think I look bad at all and I'm judging the photos from a photographer's stand point.

Instead of Jer, Gwen flounced into my bedroom since the door was left open.

"Jamie, Jer says he will come up in a while but can help you with something?" She asked, with a caring smile.

Nodding, I pat the other side of the bed.

Before Gwen even sat down, I spoke about what was bothering me.

"Do you know if Jess called Jer since the Fashion show?" I asked quickly because I honestly don't want her thinking I'm around.

Gwen suddenly looked uncomfortable as she alway does when she wants to avoid a conversation.

"I'm sorry," smiling apologetically, "I was just hoping when she see the photos she won't send a search party out for me." I laugh because before she get to me, she'll need to climb these walls.

Without looking at me, "I think she called but Jer said those photos were taken before you left and they hope it will give you incentive to call or return home." I nod in understanding hearing Gwen's explanation.

"Can you accompany me downstairs?" Fedup of the bedroom, I was already getting of the bed to use the bathroom.

Instead of remaining inside, using the back entrance, I strolled slowly around the grounds, smiling when I saw the flowers garden in the distance.

Even though it's a long walk, I decided to chance it and started making my way towards the garden, inhaling the fragrance in the air as I got closer.

Suddenly I started sweating, hoping Logan placed chairs in the garden because I don't believe I could stand for much longer.

"You're a far away from home," Cameron says from behind me.

Happy to hear a familiar voice, "hey," I acknowledge him, pointing over my shoulder, "are there any chairs around?" I asked feeling the beads of sweat trickling down my cheeks, my chest and my back, even though the fabric of the white dress I wore, was thin.

Cam quickly steps forward and sweeps me up in his arms as I felt myself falling to the ground and took me back to the house.

"Talk to me," Cam instructs me. "Tell me how you feel?" He says to me, before speaking to someone whom I didn't see.

"Call doc and bring some water," he said walking me into the sitting room before placing me on the day bed.

Mrs. Stanley was already following us with a bottle water.

I laid back against the pillows and closed my eyes.

What the hell is wrong? Even though the A/C is on, I can't stop sweating as I felt myself drifting.

"Call doctor Morris" I heard Logan's voice from a far off place but was too weak to respond.

My baby, was the first thought to enter my head and my first concern.

Logan's oncall doctor came to visit me, confirming my pressure was too high and ordered me on bed rest. That is bed rest on top of bedrest.

Not satisfied since Cameron informed him that I was almost fainting, Logan insisted Doctor Morris also give me a check up and do an ultrasound.

This is the first time I am seeing a fully equip doctor's office, in a building separate from the main house and I had to admit, it pays to have money.

"Can you actually deliver the baby here?" I looked around in awe.

Chuckling, "yes but like I told your husband, I'm not doing any of your surgeries here though." Doctor Morris confesses but his confession instilled fear in my once again.

As if he just realized the change in my demeanor, "don't worry, it's safe this way."
