Logan is out there as bait?
Looking angrily at Whiz and Jer, "so Cameron and Justin is out there with him fishing?" I asked and they both couldn't help the surprised expression that crossed their faces.
Jer stupidly spoke first, "you knew all this time and had me nervous everytime you asked about him.
Glaring at my brother and Whiz, " he's baiting them" I shout. "He could get hurt." I continued. "Guys, they could all get hurt out there and even this location is open to anyone." I explained.
Shaking his head in denial, "Logan would never leave this place open. He has guys so far out now that we would be notified of any strange activities from miles away" Whiz responded confidently.
Sure that Whiz knows what he's talking about, "where is Logan then?" I asked again and both Logan and Whiz shook their heads and shrugged their shoulders.
I turned to Gwen in frustration and realized that she couldn't help me either.
"Can't you call him for me, please?" I asked giving Whiz a pleading look.
Whiz looked across at Jer,
"Don't look at him, look at me" I said, bringing his attention back to me, with my index finger pointed at my face. "Can you call him, please?" I pleaded again.
Shaking his head, he pulls out his phone, "okay" he says, sounding reluctant. "I'll try."
I didn't care, I wanted to speak to my husband. I was scared.
I felt betrayed by Jess all over again and I don't want to be alone tonight.
I watched as Whiz made a call and watch him turn away, his voice sounding low and muffled.
I tried straining my ear to listen, but it was too difficult, or maybe it was because, I still felt drained from earlier this afternoon.
While Whiz was still on the phone, Jer's phone started ringing.
He frowned, staring at the caller ID, then makes eye contact with me.
"Jess" he mouths and I am also confused.
Tilting his head to the living area, he answers the phone and walks away while speaking to Jess.
I turned back to Whiz, who was still on the phone.
"What the hell?" I muttered loudly, causing Whiz to spin around and face me.
With his eyes in me, he continued speaking and this time I heard him and understood him.
"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!" he was saying. "Just tell him to call her." He paused and listened, then looked around, "uh.. he seems to be in the phone" Whiz said into the phone with a frown.
Nodding in Jer's direction, Whiz looks at me with raised eyebrows.
"Jess, my sister" I whispered softly.
Whiz eyes widen, with a look of disbelief and he walked briskly to where Jer stood, talking on the phone to Jess.
What's wrong now.
Gwen was silent during this entire time.
"I don't know much, but I overheard something about paying Logan's grandfather a visit." Gwen whispers, looking to the side where Jer and Whiz now stood, hoping they didn't hear her.
"What?" I whispered. "That's where my sister is" I leaned my head closer to the table and Gwen.
I can't interrupt the guys, because my voice can't be heard.
I banged my head lightly on the table in frustration.
"Here, Justin's on the line" Whiz interrupts my head banging to give me the phone.
"Hello" I answered Justin, weakly.
"I told Logan, you were crazy, but no, he insisted that you were a lady and we all know that ladies don't go banging their heads on table." Justin laughs, rather loudly and I hear faint chatter in the distance behind him.
Ignoring his attempt at a little humor, "where's Logan?" I asked, getting straight to the point.
"He and Cam is inside his grandfather's hotel room." Justin answered quickly.
"Is he with Jess?" I asked and I have no idea why I would even ask that question, but she is with Jer on. I'm so stupid, I thought, slapping my forehead, slightly.
Realizing what I did, "again, that slap wasn't hard enough. Slap yourself again," Justin says mockingly over the phone.
"I'm sorry. I don't know why I asked that, knowing that she's on the phone with Jer." I said absentmindedly.
There was a short pause before Justin responded to me again, "she's talking to Jer?" He asked, repeating my comment to me.
Realizing what I said, "shouldn't I have said that?" I asked nervously wishing I never asked Whiz to contact them.
"Uh, no. It's okay" Justin assures me, his tone softer. "It's just that Logan's with his grandmother, complaining about you and his daughter leaving him." Justin explained.
"But Jess is there" I repeated, confused.
His grandmother? Why?
"What about his grandfather?" I wondered.
Chuckling, "you don't want to know about that" Justin laughs softly.
I remained silent hoping that Justin will be honest and fill me in with what is actually going on.
"You there?" Justin asked on the other end, when I remained silent.
"Uh huh." I answered.
Laughing again, " Well Logan went in and your sister eagerly answered the door. Logan on the other hand was very angry and placed a gun at your sister's head, forcing her to lead us him and Cam to your grandfather." Justin continues.
"He's with his grandmother, so you can just imagine, that he got his way." Justin finishes.
Breathing a sigh of relief.
"So no one's killing each other" I mummer to myself, satisfied.
Chuckling, "yeah, no one's dead, yet." Justin fills me in.
"Okay" I said realizing that Logan and Justin are not in the same area so I still have to wait and I can't call Logan, since I am missing.
"Just tell him, I'm waiting and I'm not feeling well." I finished off, handing the phone to Whiz, without cutting off.
Placing the phone to his ear, Whiz listen and simply answered. "I wouldn't really know." He responds to Justin and then hangs up.
"Is he coming?"
