"Leah, Jer, Leah! She called me Leah," I stressed to make emphasis hoping my brother would hear what I'm saying.
Jer looked at me as if what I'm saying is senseless, "come on Jam, that's your name, Leah. Why are you making a big fuss about this?" He sounded upset.
I looked at my brother, he knows who he is, but I don't know who I am at least not anymore.
Jer stood in frustration, raising his hands slapping his pants, "what do you want me to do Jamie? I have no idea how to start to search for any information concerning you, unless.." he paused, takes a deep breath and sits down again.
I know that he's going to regret what he was going to say, but most times he's always right.
"Unless what?" I asked, silently prompting him.
"Unless we try a private investigator." he reluctantly suggested, raking his fingers through his unruly hair.
Nodding, I stood up slowly from in front the desk and walked to stand in front all my brother. "Jer" I started, but he stood up immediately looking at me which deep concern.
"What the f*** Jamie!" he exclaimed! "Why are you walking you should be on a chair." He said, leaning down to pick me up, carrying me to the bed.
I started slapping his back, "put me down you asshole" I screamed.
"What's going on here?" Jer turned around and I looked up to see Logan, standing with his hands on his hips shaking his head me as I fought with my brother.
Jer shakes his head, "Grey man, you need good lock this one up, sometimes." My brother suggested, with a smirk.
I glared at my brother then at my husband, who was now walking towards me with an amuse look on his face.
Raising his eyebrows, "I resign, you're his problem now." Jer declares, chuckling as he walks away.
What is he even talking about? "Are you leaving me too?" I ask sadly, my eyes on my brother's retreating back.
Jer stops and spun around. Shaking his head he comes and embrace me. "No Jam, no never." Jer promises. "You never left me and I promise, I'll never leave you." My brother hugs me tighter.
I hugged him back, "where are you going then?" I asked then.
Drawing away from my arms that's clasped tightly around his neck, Jer stares into my eyes with a light chuckle, "college" was his only response and I smiled. At least he's continuing his education.
He leans and kisses my cheeks, "beware of Gwen." he whispers, "please." he added and I tensed up, "I overheard her and Jessy talking." he continues, sadly.
As he moved away, I clutched unto his T-shirt, "no" I stopped him, "tell Logan, Now" I insisted, suddenly exhausted with all the traitors around me.
Jer, moves away from me and turn to Logan, "Grey, we need to talk, about what really tripped me today." he started walking away. "My room," he says over his shoulder.
Logan comes forward. "what's going on?" he asks.
I shrugged, not knowing what to say, "Jer will tell you. He didn't say much to me. Oh and ask Cameron to come and see me?" I requested.
Narrowing his eyes, "Cameron?" he raised his eyebrows at me suspiciously, "why?" he fold his arms to stare down at me.
I leaned back and fold my arms to calmly stare back at him, "personal" I lifted my chin waiting for him to challenge me.
His eyes soften and he leans to kiss me, "yes ma'am" he agrees, pulling out his phone as he walks backwards to meet Jer. "Cam was right, you really are scary when you want your own way." he chuckles.
I decided to take that as a compliment, "thank you!" I retorted hearing his chuckles as he walks off.
Finally I can get some work done, I rubbed my temples trying to explain to Cameron what my brother refused to help with.
I heard a notification and opening my phone, I saw messages from the University. Opening the messages, I saw that it contained updates and my timetable and books that will have to collect.
Justin!
I quickly dialed his number, "yea boss" he responds.
Taken aback with his greeting, am I really bossy?
"Princess Leah?" Justin called from the other end.
Uncomfortable with the way guys might see me as domineering, "can you meet me in my room." I asked quietly.
"Will do princess" Just agrees and I hung up without adding anything else.
I walked back to the desk and started copying down the list of books he has to collect for me.
When I was done, I turned to walked back to the desk, stopping in my tracks,
"Did someone call for a threesome?" Justin asked with a mischievous smirk, while the guy who stood next to him seem uncomfortable.
Chucking, I walked back to the bed, "nice" Justin said in admiration.
I sat down on the bed, "gramps was right, this place really soothes any pain." I sighed.
I gave the note to Justin, "can you get someone to take you to this address and collect everything on the list for me please" I requested politely and turned to Cameron, who immediately became defensive.
"I'm sorry about earlier" he started and Justin who is in the dark about this morning's drama seemed amused at Cameron's nervousness.
"Forget it." I told him because I need his help more than anything. "I need your help with something though." I looked up to see he's already smiling with a sigh of relief.
Glancing between the both of us, "hey what did you just forgive him for, I'm sure whatever it is, I would not have gotten off so easy." Justin observed.
Ignoring Justin, I continued, "I know that you will be looking for a suitable place to train so I was wondering if you could take two guys with you and check something out for me?" I looked him anxiously, knowing I could finally get some answers.
