Kally slowly caresses her Daughter's backs. Her tail wags slowly through the air, probably showing a relaxed state of Mind.
"How old are your Daughters miss Kaly?" you ask her.
She looks at you confused,
"Did I say something wrong?" you ask her, worried.
"Please excuse me, I still need to process your Kindness towards us." she says with a worried look on her face.
"You can move out once you've got enough money Kally. You don't have to stay with us forever." you tell her, hoping to soothe her worry.
"I'll give you an answer once my Daughters have gotten better." she says, looking at her daughter sleeping in her Arms.
The Foxes gesture Kally to sit down, give her a blanket and sit beside her.
A soldier walks towards you, probably carrying bad news.
"You shot and killed on of us." the soldier says.
"I did, enjoyed it...to see him suffer...beg for forgiveness. All so futile." you tell him.
"You don't even know if he has family or Children." he replies.
"Couldn't care less." you tell him.
The Soldier carries a pistol in his holster.
"You pull a gun on me, I'll make you wish you would've shot yourself instead." you tell him, expecting him to change his mind.
Something must've clicked in his head, he suddenly is okay with the incident and walks off.
"Fuck was his problem?" you ask your old Friend.
"Anger mixed with fear Milord." the Daemon replies.
You turn around and check on Kally's youngest Daughter. She seems to be sleeping tightly, despite having seen many, rather devastating things.
The Device rings, displaying a message from Katya. It bears bad news, she wishes to talk to you.
Replying to her, you will contact her once your new Family Members are safe.
"I will go get the Car, you five stay here." you tell your Family, they nod.
You rush towards the Car that lies a good few hundreds of meters away. Checking around to see if it got damaged by anything, it seems to be in top shape.
Starting the Engine, the sounds of its power soothes your nerves a bit.
You slowly drive towards your Foxes, careful not to bump into anyone or anything. Having driven back to your Foxes, you park close by.
Getting out of the car, you notice a few soldiers not far from your Foxes.
They didn't notice your presence, they slowly walk towards your Family. Anger boils up, breaking every by of calmness you had.
"Oi Dirtbags, fuck off out of here." you yell at the group of Soldiers approaching you Foxes.
"And you are you? You're just gonna use them for your pleasure" one of them says, your fists tighten.
"Come on Man, sharing is caring." one of them adds.
Hearing them talk, makes your blood boil. Adrenaline rushes through your veins, heart beat quickening.
"You insects, desperate for something you don't have... and will never have. A waste of my time, but so be it." you tell them.
Before they even process your words, you pull your Pistol and gesture them to move.
"Hey hey, easy man... we just wanted to talk to them." one of them says.
"Talk? Don't make me laugh. Get the out of my sight, before your body will be delivered to your Home... in pieces." you say, your voice... having a sinister aura, a crushing intensity to it.
Some of the Soldiers are slowly backing up, mumbling going between them.
"Try and take something from... I'll become your Nightmare." you mumble to yourself, your Foxes hearing it.
"Owner, please calm down. You're scaring them." Katie says, comforting Kally.
Slowly regaining control over your Anger, you turn back into your Normal self.
"Sorry Kally, I lost my cool there...almost." you tell her.
You hear footsteps behind you suddenly, approaching quick. You turn around and point your Pistol towards the Source. It is a Medic.
"Liar...it's not a Medic, vermin..." a voice says, from an unknown source in your head.
"I just want to check their vitals, please calm down." the person says.
"Yeah right, and I am Santa Claus." you say.
The Person faking to be a Medic begins to panic, his breathing quickening.
"Get out... before I show the rest of you Scumbags how a human brain looks up close." you tell him, he slowly backs away. Ending up walking off.
"I am truly sorry Master Dan, that I--we have caused so much trouble for you." Kally says, dropping her Ears and Tail.
"Security is my forte...that's why I always cautious." you tell her.
"We need to get out of here." you tell them, pointing at the Car.
Kally stands up, Kate picking her other Daughter up and together you quickly move towards the Car. You unlock the door and quickly let them inside, there is plenty of space for all of them.
Quickly getting in the Driver's seat you lock all the Door and Windows, turn on the Engine. And look around.
Because of the Sensors instead of Windows the Car bears, nobody can see into it. Basically working like a one-way window.
"What the fuck was that..." you mumble to yourself, staring into the Board of the Car.
"Master Dan, I am certain it's because of me and my Daughters." Kally says.
"How? Is it because of your species?" you ask her.
"That's correct, our species is capable of doing many Household chores. One could say the perfect housewife, or in other cases... the perfect Slaves." she says, worried and frightened.
"Heh.. nothing more I love then keeping my Family safe." you say, switching in first Gear.
Kally looks confused at you.
"Master Dan, may I ask why..?" Kally asks, still frightened.
As you slowly drive towards Home Town, you get a Message from Katya. She retreated with her Guards without notifying anyone when the firefight started. Therefore she is in safety.
"I think you know the answer Kally, as a Child I wasn't loved or taken care of. My parents said I was a Mistake, that I should've just never existed." you tell her, speeding up. A strong hunger growing in your Stomach.
"You surely are jesting Master Dan, I don't believe a kind person like you has had such a past." she says, grinning.
"Kally, Master is right... he said the truth." Kate tells Kally.
She gasps in shock,
"B-but..how, you too kind to strangers. You're to kind to us." Kally says, probably imagining how your Childhood must've went.
"Strong people grow out of a shattered past, not out of a Rainbow-filled Childhood." you tell her, smiling.
"I am sorry Master Dan, I didn't mean to bring back memories." Kally says, letting her Head down.
"Don't worry about me, you should worry about what you want to eat today." you tell her, changing the subject.
She looks back up at you, seemingly shocked that you'd ask her what she wants to eat.
"I am unsure, my Daughters are still asleep. They must know this too..." Kally says, smiling at her Daughters.
"Know...what?" you ask her, confused.
Katie starts to explain how Kilu Fox Children have very special affinity when it comes to knowing how a person is.
"Meaning they feel safe around you, Owner. They trust you." Katie says.
Her words are tear-bringing. Once again, a Fox fact that is completely heartwarming.
"Good to know, they can sleep until we arrive. After that, I want us to go Home, then go Shop for Clothes and other necesaties." you tell your Family.
Kate and Katie give you a bright smile. While Kally gives yet another shocking expression.
"Yes, you will get new Clothes, all five of you. I do have some things I want to sell as well." you tell them.
Maintaining a constant speed, you should arrive at Home in a little while. Hoping to get a very detailed explanation from Katya and probably her Guards as well.
Trying to briefly remember what you can sell from your Weapons Stash, including Optics, Grips, Pistol Grips anything that can bring a few thousand Roubles each.
One thing that is extremely worrying is that voice, the one that warned you of the fake Medic. What and where did it come from, you hope the Daemon has answers.
