6 Weeks has been passed from that particular night when Arslan asked forgiveness from her but she turned her face away from him. From that night not even a single day has passed when Arslan didn't ask for her forgiveness.
He was trying his best to put his anger and ego aside, to mend their relationship once again. All he wanted was a second chance to show her that he won't leave her now for anything. But then why would he leave her again when there nothing left for him to lose. His most prized possession was harshly snatched from him before he could even claim it.
On top of that Aaliya and Aaban's closeness was making him lose his calm, he was containing his calm on the last thread. Aaliya was the same case with him always just turned around whenever he would utter his apology.
Aaliya's heart was melting just like when the candle melts when it is lightened up, she was just pushing his limits because she knew his anger would take over today or tomorrow and he would burst out like a volcano at the same time she would extract her desired information from him.
"Dr. Richard I am well now, I don't think I need counseling anymore!" He said trying to convenience his psychiatrist.
"I don't care, Mr.Siddique, I have fixed your appointment for next week's Monday and you should be here at the appointed time." He said sternly because being his psychiatrist he also had friendly relations with Arslan.
"Fine, then I will see you on Monday Rich!" He said finally accepting his defeat.
His therapy is still going on, he has to be present there on appointed dates to remain his normal self otherwise he gets out of control and does things out of his hands which he always regrets afterward.
His pills were getting over, he needs his therapy, even he knows that therapy is still needed but the truth is he doesn't want to leave Aaliya alone.
He frustratedly ran his hand over his hairs, his workload was not getting any better, piles of work were still hanging over his head increasing his anger.
He came out of his study room early in the morning as the workload didn't allow him to sleep the previous night. He went to his room, took a shower with hot water to relax his tensed muscles which helped him a lot. After taking shower he continued with his daily routine.
He was having an unsettling feeling at the pit of his stomach or you can describe it as a gut feeling which was, again and again, telling him that something big was going to happen which most probably wouldn't be good for him.
He tried to shrug off this feeling to continue with his work. Monsoon season has approached the city of Mumbai turning the clear sky into cloudy with occasional sounds of thunderstorms which made the least effect on busy workaholic man.
He engrossed his self in work ignoring all other things, keeping his intuitions, his feelings, emotions, and everything aside. He caught up too much with his work that he didn't notice the time.
It was his getaway thing, he kept his self busy to that extent when he couldn't be able to focus on anything else. It always worked with him but today why he was doing this even he doesn't know! He indeed has work stress and all but not that enough which won't allow him to have a glance at the watch.
His mobile's ring brought him out of his work, it was a call from his mother as it was way past his return timings. He packed up things and left for his home.
He came home, his mother was waiting for him in the dining room as for other members they all were in the lounge, his mother served him food.
Taking the first bite of delicious food he realized actually how hungry he was, he devoured everything that was served on his plate and relaxed back in his chair.
He came back to his room, took shower, changed into comfortable clothes, and decided to finish his daily routine which was to ask forgiveness from her first and then go back to his work or maybe to sleep.
He started taking steps towards her room when he heard some conversations.
He was nearing the door of her room when he saw Aaban standing on the threshold of her door.
"I am gonna do it today only, I just want your support." Aaban said holding her hands in his hands.
"I am always with you, we will do it together." Saying she hugged him to give some confidence as well as comfort to him.
Aaban kissed her forehead, he turned on the other side of the corridor while doing something on his phone taking steps towards the staircase.
Arslan felt that was the end, he felt his already broken heart again breaking if that was even possible. Bitter tears stung his eyes but he refused to let them fall.
He couldn't take it anymore, maybe this was the thing he was feeling from the morning. Aaban was going to tell their family about his relationship with Aaliya, he felt his world getting crumbled in front of his eyes. He couldn't bear it not at least now.
He turned to go back to his room when her voice stopped him dead in his tracks. Her melodious voice was resembling venomous to him now maybe it was his own venomous thoughts which was turning everything bitter.
"Arsh Bhai!" He again heard the same voice, he turned to face her with a blank stoic face. She got the feeling something was very wrong, his expressions were telling her that. His always softened eyes were hollow.
In these past weeks, he was nothing but an amazing person with her, he was her same Arsh Bhai (brother) whom she missed in those two years. She had already forgiven him after all how could she be angry with him for a long time.
She has not told him yet was another thing but she was just finding a proper opportunity to tell him.
"Yes?" He asked without any emotions in his voice.
"You need something?" She still asked him ignoring his tone.
"No, after all, what can you give me?" He spat at her in a venomous voice, his anger getting worst out of him.
"What does that mean?" She asked not getting his point with slight irritation in her voice.
"That means you can't give me what I want, after all, Main Kaha tumhe nazar aata hun? Tumhare lie to Aaban hi sab Kuch hai na? (When do I visible to you? Aaban is everything for you after all?") he said in a mocking tone.
"Aap jo kehna chahte hai sidhe se boliye! (Whatever you want to say, say it clearly!") she said with an octave increase in her voice.
"Sidhe se kyu nahi bol deti Aaliya ki ab tumhe meri zaroorat nahi hai aakhir ab tumhare pass Aaban jo hai! (Why don't you tell me that now you don't need me anymore as you already have Aaban with you!)" he said in a malicious tone.
"Where does Aaban come in between us?" She asked him not letting her guards down.
"He is the only one between us!" He said with a defeated look on his face with a decrease octave in his voice.
"Whatever you want to say, say it to me don't drag him in this matter!" She said while folding her arms in front of her chest with angry stoic expressions on her face.
"Bada Pyaar aa raha hai!(You are feeling too much love for him!)" he said sarcastically clapping his hand with cold expressions.
"Yes so, after all, how can you know about love? Leave about love You didn't even respect your promises!" She scoffed at him, he felt hurt by her statement but then his hurt turned into rage.
"You don't know anything so I would suggest you keep silence on the topics which you don't have knowledge about!" He said in rage closing his eyes as well as fists to control saying anything further.
Her mobile rang flashing Aaban's name on the screen which made him scoff at her.
"Go, I think he might need you. Why don't you provide him comfort through your words and hugs?" He felt bitter saying those words but that is what it is.
"Are you out of your mind?" She yelled at him in anger not taking his non-sense talk anymore.
"Oh, did I say something wrong? But then again it's fact right. As I have always seen you close to him on the other side it feels as if my touch burns you!" He too shouted at her, his insecurities and jealousy were talking on behalf of him.
"It's because he is my Mehram, he is halal for me!" (Permissible) she said in a comparatively small voice looking at him with hurt expressions.
His eyes snapped at her with disbelief, does that mean...
"You two got married?" He whispered in a small broken voice trying to gulp the big lump formed in his throat as well as to keep his tears at bay.
